Why did Tony Barretto go through his own attorney to present his declaration instead of being supoenaed and deposed? One reason might be that someone was concerned the family court might seal all information from public view. This way, there was publicity before he presented his declaration, after he presented, and now there's a round of media visits. I happen to think that both parents can benefit from the findings and orders of the latest family court decision but only if both parents dedicate themselves to the best interests of their children. Britney does need to clean up her act and so does Kevin. For some reason, he has been better at not leaving tracks, but he isn't necessarily any cleaner.

This former bodyguard's accusations are pretty interesting but seem a little sketchy because if the boys were in danger he should have told people right away. Interesting how when Matt asked if he was gaining anything from coming forward he didn't mention the $200,000 he got for that tabloid interview yesterday. And why, when they found her "overdosing" in a hotel room, no one even CONSIDERED calling 911. And if he was that concerned about the boys why didn't he go to someone as SOON as he saw these things? Or IMMEDIATELY following his being fired? If his ONLY motivation was the safety of the boys why not give his story of the court and make NO comment to the press? The other people called in the custody hearing gave their story and left it at that. We don't know what Alli said under oath, or Britney's parents, or Kevin's parents, or Larry Rudolph or the other body guard. This guy gives his testimony and then calls a press conference RIGHT OUTSIDE THE COURT HOUSE. And we don't even know if what he's saying to the press is what he ACTULLY told the judge. What he's saying to the press is what he and his lawyer CLAIM was his testimony. But we have no proof of that because the majority of the court documents have been sealed. He says at the end of this interview that he has no bone to pick with Britney, that he has no desire to harm her only to protect her boys. If that were the truth then he would have given his testimony and not gone to the press. This guy is OBVIOUSLY a disgruntled ex-employee with a lawyer who saw an oppertunity to get her name into the press by inserting herself into a case where she doesn't belong.

That said, I think the judge made the right rulings and I hope Britney does see the error in her ways, cleans up her act, and becomes a good mother.
