I am the original writer and poster of the article below. It’s been updated with a good amount of information. I must say that I was surprised when I found my post on so many other websites that I had never posted it on, and under different names! I don’t mind as long as it’s posted in its entirety without alteration as most are doing (which now includes this intro before the article). Or, if someone wants to post a paragraph or two, which is also fine, as long as it’s not altered to take it out of context. Some Britney fans, though, have chopped it up, on a site or two, in order to alter it to be in their favor, or to make it look like I said something completely different. Typical of the current Britney fans by the way; to cheat and not deal in facts.

Some people have wanted me to post it on Perezhilton.com. I have tried a few times, but it would not post for some reason. And I did not want to chop it up in to smaller pieces to see if a smaller post would take to the website. I also don’t really like PerezHilton. He tends to pull posts he doesn’t like that are not in his favor or is biased to. He also moderates and controls too much, which stops freedom of speech. And he comes off as real arrogant, creepy, and shallow in my opinion. I have not had this problem with the other sites I have posted to so far. They have let me post the article. I hope X17 wins their lawsuit against him. I also feel the article as a whole is much more powerful and gives a full and accurate picture that the pieces may not. I have posted it on Dlisted, X17online, and some others. Others have reposted it numerous times on those sites and on many others.

I find it amusing how the current Britney fans have attacked it so venomously. There seems to be four ways so far, that I have seen, that they use to try to discredit the article: One: they try to ignore it and hope it goes away, or that no one will read it (yet I have gotten a tremendous amount of response to it, almost all of it in favor of the article). They will say they did not read it, and won’t, or that it’s lame because it’s to long, (in other words, it has tons of accurate data, instead of their meaningless no data comments such as “I Love Britney, all the haters suck”). The article ends up ruining their false perception of Britney and their dream world of her. Yet you know they read it, and hate it, because of the truth in it. Two: they try to discredit it by saying its “all a lie”, yet they give no facts as to what those lies are. Three: they try to discredit it by saying some of the data is wrong, but the “counter facts” they give are false and do not hold up against the article, even though they try to make themselves believe that it does. Four: they try to discredit it by attacking a spelling error or typo. Which is amusing since a spelling error or typo does not mean the data is wrong. And even if one or two pieces of data is not spot on (which I have not found any wrong yet, and Britney fans have not been able to disprove any yet), that does not mean that the vast majority of the data is wrong. With all the things she is doing, which most of it IS documented, it is not suddenly going to make her “big comeback” happen because two things out of the thousands of crazy things she is doing are found to be inaccurate.

Most of Britney’s fans simply give emotional statements such as: “it’s all lies”, or “leave Britney alone” (even though it’s Britney that won’t leave us alone, lol), or “don’t be judgmental”, (see the article below for the answer to that one), or “you are all haters”. Amusing, since most of us are not “haters” or “hating”, we are simply disgusted with her, and her actions. Big difference between hate and disgust.

And as for the complaints from Britney fans about my spelling? I know I’m not the best speller in the world, but compared to most of Britney’s fans, my God, I can’t even understand what they are saying half the time, such as: “I lov Brit, Brit. She so awsum lev her alon she da best, who u to juge fuk up asshat”. That, by the way, is a real post from one of her fans against my article. Most of the fans she has left are like that, and some are even worse then that! The sad part is that these are the people that will grow up to work in nuclear power plants, or become teachers to our children, or join the police force or military, where they will be given guns to “protect us”, scary , lol.

I read a post recently where one of Britney’s fans was saying that artists pushing commercial products (soft drinks, cars, cloths, “other people’s business products” etc.) is not a problem and was “irrelevant” to their own artistic creativity. This is probably one of the biggest fallacies and most misunderstood and destructive things an artist can do to themselves, art, free artistic expression, and creativity. It most certainly is NOT irrelevant, but an extremely important, if not, the most important thing to cover about an artist. It does destroy the true artist, art, free creativity, true freedom of expression, and freedom of speech. The biggest difference between “real artists” and “product companies” (such as: record companies, movie studios, managers, promoters, and soft drink, shoes, clothes, and car companies etc.), is that the “real free thinkers” and “real free artist” are interested in communicating their art, ideas (many times political), and their complete drive for freedom of expression, communication, and creativity in their own art. Which does come from within themselves and their own personality and being. The companies are only interested in monetary gain. The companies or industry will stop the artist from saying or doing anything that they think will stop them from making the most money that they can out of the artist. Or that the artist may challenge any “real” political view that may lower sales for the companies or cause them problems. The artist loses a great amount of ability to support their own beliefs (politically, artistically, their artistic integrity, and so on) when they have to deal with or succumb to a companies interest in their own profits and political agenda related to their own products.

Today’s’ major artists basically say nothing relevant or truly important about society, or say anything that is truly intelligent, or political, since it may ruin some sales or offend special interest groups that are in power. In today’s very controlled music scene and movie scene the John Lennon’s and Bob Dylan’s etc. would not be allowed. In other words real musicians and real opinions are not allowed. But pushing the usual “safe buttons” of “nothing” is fine if it causes enough trouble to sell more CD’s, such as pushing sex in an empty way, and “pushing over the apple cart” to get attention. When special interest groups control what an artist says, and even create the art for the artist, then you have lost the true creativity and opinions of the artist and society in general. You are simply creating a “celebrity”, not an artist, to sell material items and products. A truly free society is created by “free thinkers” and “free artists”; it’s not created by people that sell shoes, soft drinks, cars, and clothes, etc. Those special interest groups are only interested in selling their products and do not have “opinions” or deal in “free thinking” like “real artists” or even care about people. Most of the old artists did not do, and did not like to sell other peoples products back around 30 and 40 years ago. They felt this was a “sell out” of their art. Most of them made their money off of their own art which they felt was honest since it was their own creations. Their art was much more “free” and “creative”. They could also be really political when they wanted to and stand for things that really mattered. They could go against oppressive governments or corporations which the public could then rise up against with the artists. They stood for equal rights for women and blacks, and against the Vietnam War, AND the special interest groups that were financing the Vietnam War etc. The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Doors, Joan Baez, Neal Young, Jimi Hendrix (who all had REAL talent) and many other musicians and singers also. And all of that music is timeless and classic and will last for many generations because it had substance and real talented artists. They where able to change a culture, help stop a really corrupt war, and unseat a lying president because they were unfettered by corporate control and selling someone else’s products. They were not walking commercials for product companies.

Today we have a lot of the same problems and some that are even bigger, but none of the major stars such as Britney Spears are ever saying anything about anything important. They do not have the intelligence, talent, or understanding of what is going on in the world or even in themselves. In this “me” generation it is all about making as much money as possible for these “new artists” and “corporations”, and selling products for other companies that have nothing to do with their own art. And it’s done with low talent artists who have no responsibility for anything. Most of today’s artists are “drama queens” and “tabloid queens” with only an interest in themselves, and a major “need” to get attention and be “self important”. But no responsibility for society. Artists in general are in a powerful position to make powerful statements and powerful art that can last for many generations. Everyone is responsible for the condition of society since we are all a “part” of society, which is what society is. For an artist to take money from millions of people, and be where they are because of the people, but not care for the very people that put them there, is as selfish as an artist can get. To say that an artist is just supposed to give us shallow entertainment when there is so much going on in the world is to be completely irresponsible and not care about anything except oneself. There really are two kinds of people in the world. The ones that are “service to self” the selfish that can only see what they want and disregard everyone else. They usually have no understanding of anyone else and don’t care about anyone else, such as the above mentioned corporations and current crop of celebrities (Britney Spears and her current fans). Then you have the people that are “service to others” or “all”. They are responsible for society and do care about the human race and themselves in general. Such as real artists with real talent who have something to say, and have an understanding of, and have humanity within themselves. Artist should not have to be serious and have all of their works be about problems and such but there should be a balance in their art. Art is communication and is very powerful.

Also when an artist does not really create any of their own art, and it’s created from others, then you are not getting a true representation of that person or who they really are. It’s not them but a slew of numerous people and personalities that is rolled in to one (such as Britney). And when it’s other companies that are creating the art for the artist to just make money or sell their products through the artist then you are getting a really false representation of the person that is supposed to be the artist and their true personality. The so called artist, who is really not the artist, then can also becomes psychologically confused (such as Britney) and then becomes completely dependent on the companies that create it all for them, and who basically create the artist and their personalities. They then lose all aspects of themselves and their own personality since they don’t’ know who they really are with all the pressure on them. They are now “everyone else” that is telling them what to do and what to sell, and what to be artistically. They end up selling a lot of products that have nothing to do with free expression of art in an honest and true way that represents the artist inner feelings, beliefs, personal drives, and talent, or the publics. The “celebrity” then begins to have low self esteem issues and falls apart in time. You end up with shallow plastic with no substance, plastic artists and plastic fans. That kind of “art” never lasts long, nor does that kind of “artist”. Art and the artist must be free and have complete control of their own freedom of expression of the art that comes from within themselves and from their own talent and artistic ability or it is not legitimate, honest, true art in the purest sense of creativity. Artists should be the source of their own creativity and art, or at least a major part of the most important elements of it, or it’s not the artist themselves or who they are. It then becomes very destructive to everyone, including the “celebrity”, and society in general.

I must say though, it’s really amusing to me to see how the current Britney fans respond to this article. I just sit back and watch. Their statements are really hilarious, and they do sound really immature. I kind of feel bad for them sometimes since they really don’t’ seem to understand their shortcomings in their life and intelligence. And when someone has to idolize someone like Britney Spears the way she is right now, then that means their own life must be quite miserable. Those of us that want her to go away are the ones that do have good lives; good taste, and are not needy (like Britney and her fans). We just want her to go away so we don’t have to have her low grade clown show pushed in our faces all the time on the news, the tabloids in the markets, and everywhere else. The true history of Britney Spears, her career, money, and downfall. And to the Britney fans who have been posting on some websites lately that she is worth $300 million. She is NOT worth $300 million. The most she ever had was about $150 million which Forbes magazine and some other publications talked about, and they probably pushed it up a bit for PR reasons. She has not put out a new CD in years and has not toured in some time. She has been spending a lot of it for the last few years, K-Fed (cars, recording his CD, creating his record company Federline Records, etc.), limos, houses, lawsuits, lawyers, managers, accountants, body guards (which can cost $50, 000 or more a month), lost investments (her apartment in NY, Nyla restaurant, cancelled tour, and many others, etc.), insurance costs (houses, life insurance, kids, career, medical etc.). Then there is her managers cut. I think Larry takes something like 15% or 20% off the top of anything she makes. And then there is her family, her mother gets a big amount of everything she makes, she also gives money to her father (his juice bar that failed etc.), and then her brother Brian, and some to her sister. Another thing to remember is one of her hick uncles manages her money. So there’s always the possibility that everything has been mismanaged too. Renting private jets can cost a few hundred thousand a year or more. Also adding the factor of her stupidity and inability to understand accounting and life in general and you have a great chance of her minders fixing the accounting books and records and leaving her broke. Then of course there is the IRS, who gets a big amount of everything she makes. Then there is Federline, who may get a big amount of her money for the kids because Britney has been so stupid after the filing of the divorce. You also have to remember that the figures magazines give are the gross sales and figures, they are not the net worth after all those expenses, which celebrities usually don’t want to give out since the larger amount the magazines give out make the celebrity look far better. All this means she gets far, far, less than the figures the magazines print. So even the figure of 150 million is far, far higher then what she really had back then or was worth back then. And now it’s far lower then that.
She also lost the lawsuit that she filed against the ten insurance companies that she was trying to get payment from. She wanted them to pay her when she cancelled in the middle of her last tour to cover the major losses. She ended up having to pay major amounts of money for damages, cancelled arenas, promoters, investors etc. (in the millions). She was also losing a lot of money on her last tour since about half of the arenas were about half full, a quarter about a quarter full, and only about a quarter of the shows were full. This compared to her first few tours where every arena was full at the height of her fame. If you don't remember go back and take a look at the records (and not the PR her publicists put out). She was already becoming quite unstable well before Federline came along, with her 55 hour marriage, drinking, and out of control and unstable behavior and emotionalism. Then on her Onyx tour she did not show for two of the shows when the fans were already in their seats. No reason was given to the fans, and they were understandably upset. Then she came off stage crying at some of the European shows because they were less than half full. Then she cancelled in the middle of the tour because of her knee. She also had her knee operated on in 1999. So that is two times her knee has been a problem for her tours. Since her shows are based on dancing and putting on a big show while she lip-synchs, that makes her knee a big problem to the record companies, promoters, and investors. They are not willing to back her at this time since she is so erratic and unprofessional from her track history, and especially at present. She made one movie that she starred in, Crossroads, (she also won a Razzie award for worst actress of the year for it). She has not been in a movie as a lead since then. In fact she has been turned down many times by Hollywood and has not gotten a starring role in over five years now, and won't.

She can't even sing. They use pitch modifying programs such as pro-tools plug-ins and Melodyn Uno in the studio to correct her voice, which IS out of tune and sounds bad. And even after all that her voice still sounds like mini mouse on helium. It’s amazing what modern technology can do. She then has to do the Oooh, Aahhh, sex moans on her last couple of CD’s in order to sell them with sex, and they still sold far less then her first two CD’s did. Then she has to lip-synch on stage since she can't sing live. Also, the excuse that she is dancing so she is unable to sing is NOT true or a valid excuse. Many over the years have been able to sing and dance at the same time, that is what talent is, it’s the ability to do it, which Britney does not have (talent also implies that someone has an ability that most don’t, she does not). She is billed as a "singer” and a “Pop Star” so she should give the people the real goods and sing since that is what she is supposed to be, a singer. Her inability to sing is then covered up with a big show with lots of lights and bells while they play her CD’s as background music to the show. Basically what you have is a prettified but shallow show which is a large scale “karaoke” show for kids, teens, and some tweens, that don’t know any better. It stars a marginally talented celebrity, not “artist”, with the record companies creating all the “art” for her. She is a created product, not an artist.

She was already becoming really unstable far before Federline came along, with her 55 hour marriage, drinking, out of control, unstable behavior, and emotionalism. This is not to defend Federline at all, since he has been a rotten father and a bum. He also subjected us to some of the worst, most egotistical, and badly written music put out by any record company. He really is a “NO HIT” wonder. The planet is still having nightmares! But the excuse Britney fans use that he is the sole reason she is failing is because of him is completely false. She was on her way down, big time, well before he came along. And after the divorce, when she was back on her own, she became far worse then when she was with him. Although he is a bum and gross, he is not the cause of her downfall, Britney is completely responsible for her own downfall by the constant “really bad” choices she is so determined to make, and keeps making day after day, such as marrying Federline when the world told her not too since we all saw what he was.

She was already in decline by the third CD "Britney" which sold less then half of what "BOMT" did within the same amount of time from its release. Her first CD "BOMT" sold about 11.5 million US (United States sales) when it came out. OIDIA sold about 7.5 million within the same amount of time from its release. Her third CD "Britney" sold about 3.5 million in the same amount of time from its release. Her fourth CD "ITZ" sold slightly above 2 million in the same amount of time from its release. Her "Best Hits CD" although not a studio CD, sold about 1 million in the same amount of time from its release. And her worldwide figures are the same in that they also had the same downward trend. Not once did her statistics go up, it was a straight downward trend. If you look at it, she did her best when she had a clean and sweet image, on stage, on her CD's, in her personality, and behavior. The more she pushes the sex/slut image, and now the trailer trash image, instead of the sweet girl image of the beginning of her career, the less CD's she sells. She does not seem to understand this. She has now gone down to crotch shots, and a really dirty image in order to get attention and try to revive her career. That is a real shame since all she had to do at the beginning of her career is show up and be sweet. She sold millions, and millions loved her back then. She had integrity, or at least it looked like it back then. From a business point of view she should have not gone the way she did. It does not work and has ruined her career. She now has only a few fans that are left that are interested in her for skanky reasons, tabloid fodder, and partying, and not for the beautiful Pop Star image that she had some years ago that so many loved. In actuality, the Britney we are now seeing IS the real Britney. The industry is not there to put her together like they used to since she does not sell like she used too (not even close). She is now falling apart at the seams, and has been for some time: 55 hour marriages, marriage to K-Fed, child accidents, erratic behavior, cancelled tours, child neglect, law suits, constant bad decisions, crazy partying, crotch shots on purpose (three different times), disrespecting her fans, psychiatric drugs while drinking alcohol, and drinking and driving (which can kill someone, including her) etc.

Britney is a celebrity. She was worshiped in the past by millions of kids when she was at the height of her fame, a lot of those kids, or teens now, will do what she does. If she drinks and drives, and does crazy things like flashing herself then kids will do it to. The problem is that these kids don't have bodyguards so they can end up in a date rape situation or car accident from drinking which does happen all the time, check the statistics. Celebrities do have a responsibility to the public they are in front of. She is also unusual compared to most celebrities since she was directly marketed to kids and teens when she was on the MMC and later when she started her recording career. That was not long ago either. Mothers of children and babies can't watch them all the time, such as when the kids are in school or over at a friends house or when the mother has to work. A lot of kids do things that their friends dare them to do or that they decide to do on their own when they are young from seeing movies or their favorite celebrity. Her being directly marketed to kids for most of her career does create a need for her and her handlers and family to take more responsibility for her image. There are million of creative and intelligent things an artist of her type can do that is really creative and inspiring that dose not involve the trailer trash, whore image, and actions.

Her perfume is not doing well now because of her image. Check the latest figures. Even Elizabeth Arden made comments in one of their recent bulletins. They have been cutting back on it and only releasing smaller amounts. There are also rumors that Elizabeth Arden are thinking of suing her because she has not been keeping up her part of the deal, and has not done the amount of advertising she was supposed to do for them (except for awful commercials like the Christmas commercial in her home, in front of the tree with her own product boxes all over it!), That had to be one of the worst commercials ever made, very hick. She also has not kept up the "far better image" of herself that she had years ago which DOES help sell the products she backs. Her trailer trash image has done major harm to her businesses (perfume, CD's, tours, any possible movie career, etc.). She IS a business and needs to act like it with her image if she is not going to be an artist but be a product selling business. Her image IS her business. Major magazines are not putting her on their covers all the time anymore like they used to, which paid her big money. Now she is only on the covers of the tabloids, which do not pay her at all. It also damages her career a lot, and her image, to be in the tabs all the time, and not in major paying magazines (who make her look good).

She should have done Playboy if she wanted to show the world her privates. They would have made her look good and paid her a lot of money. Instead she did it for free to get attention which did a lot more damage to her image then any kind of "help" for her comeback. With the C-section showing and rashes further down (check the large images on the net, not the small ones where you can't see); it looked really gross and desperate, and IS a turn off. And being with Hilton only made it worse. She does not have any professionalism to her tactics and it hurts her image and business a lot. Everyone looks at a train wreck, but that does not mean anyone is going to pay cash to buy it.

Women who feel, believe, or are told that their only value is their sex, suffer the most. Their minds, abilities, there ethics level, integrity, strength, spirituality, their inner strength, their belief in themselves as a person, and the beauty of who they are, are their true value. The ones that don’t know this or have those qualities and think their looks are all, are the ones that suffer by far the most, and greatly. Especially when their looks start to fade. This is what is happening to Britney. All she has know is her sex appeal that she had, she dose not have true artistic talent as an actress, singer, writer, musician, etc. no integrity or belief in herself so she has nothing else to believe in then the sex appeal that she was sold to the public with. Now that, that is fading, and she is not being paid in vast amounts for it (the demand from the industry is way down), she is really feeling worthless. This is a major reason she may have done the crotch shots. She thought it would put her back on top since she felt everyone wanted to see her. It of course backfired in a major way because of the way she did it (in a really trashy and tasteless way). It also shows how far away she is from understanding the public or her fans that are left. She is really out of touch with reality and herself. I feel that her mother, her manager Larry, and others have harmed her a lot by pushing her in to the Lolita sex image product that she is sold as. This has made her cave in and feel worthless. Real nice people she has around her don’t you think? People that care far more about what money they can squeeze out of her so they can live the big life, then care about her as a person, or get her real help when she needs it. Can everyone say “Mommy Dearest”?

She gets involved in a lot of lawsuits (which she creates), and has bad business dealings a lot also. Her restaurant NYLA went broke. She was sued by NIKE some years back and lost. She was sued by a t-shirt company (the only one she won). She sued US magazine and lost and others she has been in. Suing, lawyers, and court cases cost a huge amount of money. She does not have a large income at this time. She has been spending far more in the last three years then she has brought in. If you check all of her divorce papers, other filings, and documents, she only has about $32 million left. Those records are public record and are in the papers filed since the courts have to decide how to split the money for the children. She has gone from $150 million about four years ago down to $32 million. That is a loss of $118 million in four years. And remember it is probably well under $32 million because of all the expenses mentioned above. This is why she is so desperate to put out a new CD. She is not acting smart, and I am sure a lot of people are taking her money all the time, not just K-Fed, since she is always partying and going crazy. When a star falls, it’s not uncommon for everyone to take a part of the pie (their money). Look at Michael Jackson, Elvis, and many others.

She may even lose her kids, which is up to the judge and not her fans or their opinions. I work in the legal profession and see how the courts and judges rule all the time. She does not know how to manage her money or kids and be a good and stable mother. The children came out of her; they instinctively know she is their mommy. A Nanny is not the biological mother. The images that the tabloids constantly print of her and her actions can be, and will be, used in court. And it will damage her greatly. In fact, the tabloids are doing her far more harm than any of her "past fans", or "haters", can do all together. The courts will not care about the "past fans", or "haters", opinions. But they will care very much about the pictures and films the tabs have shown which can be used in court. If she keeps going like this, she will also lose the rest of her money in a few more years (around five years or so).

The current Britney fans seem to only care about image (hair color, makeup, clothes, and partying all the time, etc.), and not substance (such as facts, or Britney’s kids, or professionalism for Britney's business). And for the fans that keep saying Britney’s life is nobody's business, you are wrong. She became famous because of us. She puts herself out there all the time and shows off her "supposed" personal life on purpose to get the attention she needs so badly. She wants the attention. She is in our faces all the time and on purpose. We can judge her anytime we want. There is no law against it. If no one ever judged then no one could ever correct a wrong or point out something destructive, or see the difference between right and wrong, good or bad. It is everyone’s right to judge. She is acting such a fool lately that many should judge her, and they do. She is a celebrity shoving her personal life in everyone’s face on purpose and in a gross and desperate way. She makes her money by selling us all her products. If we do not want to buy her products anymore because we don't like her anymore, or what she or her products stand for now, then that is our right and we do not have to accept her or her tactics. We can boycott and/or say we don’t like her; it is our legal right to do so. We can say what we want, and judge her all we want. Just like Britney's fans can have their say, and judge her as fit or not doing anything wrong by neglecting her kids, etc.

And just because her kids are not your kids does not mean we can't care about their well being when she is being such a flake about it. She parties almost every night from around 6PM to 5AM or 6AM. She then has to sleep, probably 10 hours or so to get over the hangover. She also stated "herself" in a couple interviews that I saw of her some years back that she loves to sleep about 10 to 12 hours threw the day. Then we see her out in the afternoon shopping a lot without her kids. Then she goes back to partying all night. She is not spending much time at all with her kids. If you are a mother and truly love your babies then you instinctively want to be with them all the time because you love them. They are the most important of anything to a real mother. It is so funny how the current Britney fans always scream about how the rest of us should not judge, or don't have the right to judge, when they are far more judgmental then anyone else, and they judge everyone else that is not a Britney fan.

People that are unhappy in their lives and have lives that are out of control tend to party a lot and be unprofessional as a solution to their “unhappiness” and “neediness”. They end up doing a lot of crazy things and eventually self destruct. They are not professional and do not have their life in control. They are also not responsible and end up losing a lot in life and losing control of their lives eventually. These are the same people that don't care about kids, such as Britney’s kids, and justify what Britney does so they can “hope” she will give them another CD so it might make them happy. That is so sad that they would prefer a CD from her to make themselves feel better, over her kids being raised properly by her, the actual biological mother, and her love. That is why the current Britney fans justify her crazy actions and her major child neglect; it’s so they don’t have to feel guilty about Britney’s babies. That way they can try to enjoy their Idols talk of a new CD without feeling guilty. It seems that the current Britney fans are far more selfish then they are aware of. And by the way, she is looking more and more trailer trash everyday, she does not look beautiful. She is on alcohol and drugged up a lot. That is a major way to destroy your life. Look at the history of all the celebrities that have destroyed their careers and died from it. You can also check a bunch of her current pictures against the ones from years ago when she was doing great and still looked fresh and young. She does not look that way anymore, not even close. She really was happy back then and smiled all the time. Now when she smiles, which is not often, it is hiding a lot of pain and misery. Just look deeper and you will see it there. The problem is that she has caused this all on her own, with her selfishness and stupid tactics. She has gone crazy and really needs professional care. I used to be a really big fan of hers. But the Britney now is literally someone completely different. This is not even the same person. Just like Justin said, he does not even know who she is now, and all the fans that have left, which is the vast majority, don't know who this woman is now. Britney left some time ago, Sad.

I am the original writer and poster of the article below. It’s been updated with a good amount of information. I must say that I was surprised when I found my post on so many other websites that I had never posted it on, and under different names! I don’t mind as long as it’s posted in its entirety without alteration as most are doing (which now includes this intro before the article). Or, if someone wants to post a paragraph or two, which is also fine, as long as it’s not altered to take it out of context. Some Britney fans, though, have chopped it up, on a site or two, in order to alter it to be in their favor, or to make it look like I said something completely different. Typical of the current Britney fans by the way; to cheat and not deal in facts.

Some people have wanted me to post it on Perezhilton.com. I have tried a few times, but it would not post for some reason. And I did not want to chop it up in to smaller pieces to see if a smaller post would take to the website. I also don’t really like PerezHilton. He tends to pull posts he doesn’t like that are not in his favor or is biased to. He also moderates and controls too much, which stops freedom of speech. And he comes off as real arrogant, creepy, and shallow in my opinion. I have not had this problem with the other sites I have posted to so far. They have let me post the article. I hope X17 wins their lawsuit against him. I also feel the article as a whole is much more powerful and gives a full and accurate picture that the pieces may not. I have posted it on Dlisted, X17online, and some others. Others have reposted it numerous times on those sites and on many others.

I find it amusing how the current Britney fans have attacked it so venomously. There seems to be four ways so far, that I have seen, that they use to try to discredit the article: One: they try to ignore it and hope it goes away, or that no one will read it (yet I have gotten a tremendous amount of response to it, almost all of it in favor of the article). They will say they did not read it, and won’t, or that it’s lame because it’s to long, (in other words, it has tons of accurate data, instead of their meaningless no data comments such as “I Love Britney, all the haters suck”). The article ends up ruining their false perception of Britney and their dream world of her. Yet you know they read it, and hate it, because of the truth in it. Two: they try to discredit it by saying its “all a lie”, yet they give no facts as to what those lies are. Three: they try to discredit it by saying some of the data is wrong, but the “counter facts” they give are false and do not hold up against the article, even though they try to make themselves believe that it does. Four: they try to discredit it by attacking a spelling error or typo. Which is amusing since a spelling error or typo does not mean the data is wrong. And even if one or two pieces of data is not spot on (which I have not found any wrong yet, and Britney fans have not been able to disprove any yet), that does not mean that the vast majority of the data is wrong. With all the things she is doing, which most of it IS documented, it is not suddenly going to make her “big comeback” happen because two things out of the thousands of crazy things she is doing are found to be inaccurate.

Most of Britney’s fans simply give emotional statements such as: “it’s all lies”, or “leave Britney alone” (even though it’s Britney that won’t leave us alone, lol), or “don’t be judgmental”, (see the article below for the answer to that one), or “you are all haters”. Amusing, since most of us are not “haters” or “hating”, we are simply disgusted with her, and her actions. Big difference between hate and disgust.

And as for the complaints from Britney fans about my spelling? I know I’m not the best speller in the world, but compared to most of Britney’s fans, my God, I can’t even understand what they are saying half the time, such as: “I lov Brit, Brit. She so awsum lev her alon she da best, who u to juge fuk up asshat”. That, by the way, is a real post from one of her fans against my article. Most of the fans she has left are like that, and some are even worse then that! The sad part is that these are the people that will grow up to work in nuclear power plants, or become teachers to our children, or join the police force or military, where they will be given guns to “protect us”, scary , lol.

I read a post recently where one of Britney’s fans was saying that artists pushing commercial products (soft drinks, cars, cloths, “other people’s business products” etc.) is not a problem and was “irrelevant” to their own artistic creativity. This is probably one of the biggest fallacies and most misunderstood and destructive things an artist can do to themselves, art, free artistic expression, and creativity. It most certainly is NOT irrelevant, but an extremely important, if not, the most important thing to cover about an artist. It does destroy the true artist, art, free creativity, true freedom of expression, and freedom of speech. The biggest difference between “real artists” and “product companies” (such as: record companies, movie studios, managers, promoters, and soft drink, shoes, clothes, and car companies etc.), is that the “real free thinkers” and “real free artist” are interested in communicating their art, ideas (many times political), and their complete drive for freedom of expression, communication, and creativity in their own art. Which does come from within themselves and their own personality and being. The companies are only interested in monetary gain. The companies or industry will stop the artist from saying or doing anything that they think will stop them from making the most money that they can out of the artist. Or that the artist may challenge any “real” political view that may lower sales for the companies or cause them problems. The artist loses a great amount of ability to support their own beliefs (politically, artistically, their artistic integrity, and so on) when they have to deal with or succumb to a companies interest in their own profits and political agenda related to their own products.

Today’s’ major artists basically say nothing relevant or truly important about society, or say anything that is truly intelligent, or political, since it may ruin some sales or offend special interest groups that are in power. In today’s very controlled music scene and movie scene the John Lennon’s and Bob Dylan’s etc. would not be allowed. In other words real musicians and real opinions are not allowed. But pushing the usual “safe buttons” of “nothing” is fine if it causes enough trouble to sell more CD’s, such as pushing sex in an empty way, and “pushing over the apple cart” to get attention. When special interest groups control what an artist says, and even create the art for the artist, then you have lost the true creativity and opinions of the artist and society in general. You are simply creating a “celebrity”, not an artist, to sell material items and products. A truly free society is created by “free thinkers” and “free artists”; it’s not created by people that sell shoes, soft drinks, cars, and clothes, etc. Those special interest groups are only interested in selling their products and do not have “opinions” or deal in “free thinking” like “real artists” or even care about people. Most of the old artists did not do, and did not like to sell other peoples products back around 30 and 40 years ago. They felt this was a “sell out” of their art. Most of them made their money off of their own art which they felt was honest since it was their own creations. Their art was much more “free” and “creative”. They could also be really political when they wanted to and stand for things that really mattered. They could go against oppressive governments or corporations which the public could then rise up against with the artists. They stood for equal rights for women and blacks, and against the Vietnam War, AND the special interest groups that were financing the Vietnam War etc. The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Doors, Joan Baez, Neal Young, Jimi Hendrix (who all had REAL talent) and many other musicians and singers also. And all of that music is timeless and classic and will last for many generations because it had substance and real talented artists. They where able to change a culture, help stop a really corrupt war, and unseat a lying president because they were unfettered by corporate control and selling someone else’s products. They were not walking commercials for product companies.

Today we have a lot of the same problems and some that are even bigger, but none of the major stars such as Britney Spears are ever saying anything about anything important. They do not have the intelligence, talent, or understanding of what is going on in the world or even in themselves. In this “me” generation it is all about making as much money as possible for these “new artists” and “corporations”, and selling products for other companies that have nothing to do with their own art. And it’s done with low talent artists who have no responsibility for anything. Most of today’s artists are “drama queens” and “tabloid queens” with only an interest in themselves, and a major “need” to get attention and be “self important”. But no responsibility for society. Artists in general are in a powerful position to make powerful statements and powerful art that can last for many generations. Everyone is responsible for the condition of society since we are all a “part” of society, which is what society is. For an artist to take money from millions of people, and be where they are because of the people, but not care for the very people that put them there, is as selfish as an artist can get. To say that an artist is just supposed to give us shallow entertainment when there is so much going on in the world is to be completely irresponsible and not care about anything except oneself. There really are two kinds of people in the world. The ones that are “service to self” the selfish that can only see what they want and disregard everyone else. They usually have no understanding of anyone else and don’t care about anyone else, such as the above mentioned corporations and current crop of celebrities (Britney Spears and her current fans). Then you have the people that are “service to others” or “all”. They are responsible for society and do care about the human race and themselves in general. Such as real artists with real talent who have something to say, and have an understanding of, and have humanity within themselves. Artist should not have to be serious and have all of their works be about problems and such but there should be a balance in their art. Art is communication and is very powerful.

Also when an artist does not really create any of their own art, and it’s created from others, then you are not getting a true representation of that person or who they really are. It’s not them but a slew of numerous people and personalities that is rolled in to one (such as Britney). And when it’s other companies that are creating the art for the artist to just make money or sell their products through the artist then you are getting a really false representation of the person that is supposed to be the artist and their true personality. The so called artist, who is really not the artist, then can also becomes psychologically confused (such as Britney) and then becomes completely dependent on the companies that create it all for them, and who basically create the artist and their personalities. They then lose all aspects of themselves and their own personality since they don’t’ know who they really are with all the pressure on them. They are now “everyone else” that is telling them what to do and what to sell, and what to be artistically. They end up selling a lot of products that have nothing to do with free expression of art in an honest and true way that represents the artist inner feelings, beliefs, personal drives, and talent, or the publics. The “celebrity” then begins to have low self esteem issues and falls apart in time. You end up with shallow plastic with no substance, plastic artists and plastic fans. That kind of “art” never lasts long, nor does that kind of “artist”. Art and the artist must be free and have complete control of their own freedom of expression of the art that comes from within themselves and from their own talent and artistic ability or it is not legitimate, honest, true art in the purest sense of creativity. Artists should be the source of their own creativity and art, or at least a major part of the most important elements of it, or it’s not the artist themselves or who they are. It then becomes very destructive to everyone, including the “celebrity”, and society in general.

I must say though, it’s really amusing to me to see how the current Britney fans respond to this article. I just sit back and watch. Their statements are really hilarious, and they do sound really immature. I kind of feel bad for them sometimes since they really don’t’ seem to understand their shortcomings in their life and intelligence. And when someone has to idolize someone like Britney Spears the way she is right now, then that means their own life must be quite miserable. Those of us that want her to go away are the ones that do have good lives; good taste, and are not needy (like Britney and her fans). We just want her to go away so we don’t have to have her low grade clown show pushed in our faces all the time on the news, the tabloids in the markets, and everywhere else. She does lower the standards, sanity, and taste of society, and makes it trash. Those of us with intelligence and class know this; Britney’s current fans don’t since they don’t have those qualities. The true history of Britney Spears, her career, money, and downfall. And to the Britney fans who have been posting on some websites lately that she is worth $300 million. She is NOT worth $300 million. The most she ever had was about $150 million which Forbes magazine and some other publications talked about, and they probably pushed it up a bit for PR reasons. She has not put out a new CD in years and has not toured in some time. She has been spending a lot of it for the last few years, K-Fed (cars, recording his CD, creating his record company Federline Records, etc.), limos, houses, lawsuits, lawyers, managers, accountants, body guards (which can cost $50, 000 or more a month), lost investments (her apartment in NY, Nyla restaurant, cancelled tour, and many others, etc.), insurance costs (houses, life insurance, kids, career, medical etc.). Then there is her managers cut. I think Larry takes something like 15% or 20% off the top of anything she makes. And then there is her family, her mother gets a big amount of everything she makes, she also gives money to her father (his juice bar that failed etc.), and then her brother Brian, and some to her sister. Another thing to remember is one of her hick uncles manages her money. So there’s always the possibility that everything has been mismanaged too. Renting private jets can cost a few hundred thousand a year or more. Also adding the factor of her stupidity and inability to understand accounting and life in general and you have a great chance of her minders fixing the accounting books and records and leaving her broke. Then of course there is the IRS, who gets a big amount of everything she makes. Then there is Federline, who may get a big amount of her money for the kids because Britney has been so stupid after the filing of the divorce. You also have to remember that the figures magazines give are the gross sales and figures, they are not the net worth after all those expenses, which celebrities usually don’t want to give out since the larger amount the magazines give out make the celebrity look far better. All this means she gets far, far, less than the figures the magazines print. So even the figure of 150 million is far, far higher then what she really had back then or was worth back then. And now it’s far lower then that.
She also lost the lawsuit that she filed against the ten insurance companies that she was trying to get payment from. She wanted them to pay her when she cancelled in the middle of her last tour to cover the major losses. She ended up having to pay major amounts of money for damages, cancelled arenas, promoters, investors etc. (in the millions). She was also losing a lot of money on her last tour since about half of the arenas were about half full, a quarter about a quarter full, and only about a quarter of the shows were full. This compared to her first few tours where every arena was full at the height of her fame. If you don't remember go back and take a look at the records (and not the PR her publicists put out). She was already becoming quite unstable well before Federline came along, with her 55 hour marriage, drinking, and out of control and unstable behavior and emotionalism. Then on her Onyx tour she did not show for two of the shows when the fans were already in their seats. No reason was given to the fans, and they were understandably upset. Then she came off stage crying at some of the European shows because they were less than half full. Then she cancelled in the middle of the tour because of her knee. She also had her knee operated on in 1999. So that is two times her knee has been a problem for her tours. Since her shows are based on dancing and putting on a big show while she lip-synchs, that makes her knee a big problem to the record companies, promoters, and investors. They are not willing to back her at this time since she is so erratic and unprofessional from her track history, and especially at present. She made one movie that she starred in, Crossroads, (she also won a Razzie award for worst actress of the year for it). She has not been in a movie as a lead since then. In fact she has been turned down many times by Hollywood and has not gotten a starring role in over five years now, and won't.

She can't even sing. They use pitch modifying programs such as pro-tools plug-ins and Melodyn Uno in the studio to correct her voice, which IS out of tune and sounds bad. And even after all that her voice still sounds like mini mouse on helium. It’s amazing what modern technology can do. She then has to do the Oooh, Aahhh, sex moans on her last couple of CD’s in order to sell them with sex, and they still sold far less then her first two CD’s did. Then she has to lip-synch on stage since she can't sing live. Also, the excuse that she is dancing so she is unable to sing is NOT true or a valid excuse. Many over the years have been able to sing and dance at the same time, that is what talent is, it’s the ability to do it, which Britney does not have (talent also implies that someone has an ability that most don’t, she does not). She is billed as a "singer” and a “Pop Star” so she should give the people the real goods and sing since that is what she is supposed to be, a singer. Her inability to sing is then covered up with a big show with lots of lights and bells while they play her CD’s as background music to the show. Basically what you have is a prettified but shallow show which is a large scale “karaoke” show for kids, teens, and some tweens, that don’t know any better. It stars a marginally talented celebrity, not “artist”, with the record companies creating all the “art” for her. She is a created product, not an artist.

She was already becoming really unstable far before Federline came along, with her 55 hour marriage, drinking, out of control, unstable behavior, and emotionalism. This is not to defend Federline at all, since he has been a rotten father and a bum. He also subjected us to some of the worst, most egotistical, and badly written music put out by any record company. He really is a “NO HIT” wonder. The planet is still having nightmares! But the excuse Britney fans use that he is the sole reason she is failing is because of him is completely false. She was on her way down, big time, well before he came along. And after the divorce, when she was back on her own, she became far worse then when she was with him. Although he is a bum and gross, he is not the cause of her downfall, Britney is completely responsible for her own downfall by the constant “really bad” choices she is so determined to make, and keeps making day after day, such as marrying Federline when the world told her not too since we all saw what he was.

She was already in decline by the third CD "Britney" which sold less then half of what "BOMT" did within the same amount of time from its release. Her first CD "BOMT" sold about 11.5 million US (United States sales) when it came out. OIDIA sold about 7.5 million within the same amount of time from its release. Her third CD "Britney" sold about 3.5 million in the same amount of time from its release. Her fourth CD "ITZ" sold slightly above 2 million in the same amount of time from its release. Her "Best Hits CD" although not a studio CD, sold about 1 million in the same amount of time from its release. And her worldwide figures are the same in that they also had the same downward trend. Not once did her statistics go up, it was a straight downward trend. If you look at it, she did her best when she had a clean and sweet image, on stage, on her CD's, in her personality, and behavior. The more she pushes the sex/slut image, and now the trailer trash image, instead of the sweet girl image of the beginning of her career, the less CD's she sells. She does not seem to understand this. She has now gone down to crotch shots, and a really dirty image in order to get attention and try to revive her career. That is a real shame since all she had to do at the beginning of her career is show up and be sweet. She sold millions, and millions loved her back then. She had integrity, or at least it looked like it back then. From a business point of view she should have not gone the way she did. It does not work and has ruined her career. She now has only a few fans that are left that are interested in her for skanky reasons, tabloid fodder, and partying, and not for the beautiful Pop Star image that she had some years ago that so many loved. In actuality, the Britney we are now seeing IS the real Britney. The industry is not there to put her together like they used to since she does not sell like she used too (not even close). She is now falling apart at the seams, and has been for some time: 55 hour marriages, marriage to K-Fed, child accidents, erratic behavior, cancelled tours, child neglect, law suits, constant bad decisions, crazy partying, crotch shots on purpose (three different times), disrespecting her fans, psychiatric drugs while drinking alcohol, and drinking and driving (which can kill someone, including her) etc.

Britney is a celebrity. She was worshiped in the past by millions of kids when she was at the height of her fame, a lot of those kids, or teens now, will do what she does. If she drinks and drives, and does crazy things like flashing herself then kids will do it to. The problem is that these kids don't have bodyguards so they can end up in a date rape situation or car accident from drinking which does happen all the time, check the statistics. Celebrities do have a responsibility to the public they are in front of. She is also unusual compared to most celebrities since she was directly marketed to kids and teens when she was on the MMC and later when she started her recording career. That was not long ago either. Mothers of children and babies can't watch them all the time, such as when the kids are in school or over at a friends house or when the mother has to work. A lot of kids do things that their friends dare them to do or that they decide to do on their own when they are young from seeing movies or their favorite celebrity. Her being directly marketed to kids for most of her career does create a need for her and her handlers and family to take more responsibility for her image. There are million of creative and intelligent things an artist of her type can do that is really creative and inspiring that dose not involve the trailer trash, whore image, and actions.

Her perfume is not doing well now because of her image. Check the latest figures. Even Elizabeth Arden made comments in one of their recent bulletins. They have been cutting back on it and only releasing smaller amounts. There are also rumors that Elizabeth Arden are thinking of suing her because she has not been keeping up her part of the deal, and has not done the amount of advertising she was supposed to do for them (except for awful commercials like the Christmas commercial in her home, in front of the tree with her own product boxes all over it!), That had to be one of the worst commercials ever made, very hick. She also has not kept up the "far better image" of herself that she had years ago which DOES help sell the products she backs. Her trailer trash image has done major harm to her businesses (perfume, CD's, tours, any possible movie career, etc.). She IS a business and needs to act like it with her image if she is not going to be an artist but be a product selling business. Her image IS her business. Major magazines are not putting her on their covers all the time anymore like they used to, which paid her big money. Now she is only on the covers of the tabloids, which do not pay her at all. It also damages her career a lot, and her image, to be in the tabs all the time, and not in major paying magazines (who make her look good).

She should have done Playboy if she wanted to show the world her privates. They would have made her look good and paid her a lot of money. Instead she did it for free to get attention which did a lot more damage to her image then any kind of "help" for her comeback. With the C-section showing and rashes further down (check the large images on the net, not the small ones where you can't see); it looked really gross and desperate, and IS a turn off. And being with Hilton only made it worse. She does not have any professionalism to her tactics and it hurts her image and business a lot. Everyone looks at a train wreck, but that does not mean anyone is going to pay cash to buy it.

Women who feel, believe, or are told that their only value is their sex, suffer the most. Their minds, abilities, there ethics level, integrity, strength, spirituality, their inner strength, their belief in themselves as a person, and the beauty of who they are, are their true value. The ones that don’t know this or have those qualities and think their looks are all, are the ones that suffer by far the most, and greatly. Especially when their looks start to fade. This is what is happening to Britney. All she has know is her sex appeal that she had, she dose not have true artistic talent as an actress, singer, writer, musician, etc. no integrity or belief in herself so she has nothing else to believe in then the sex appeal that she was sold to the public with. Now that, that is fading, and she is not being paid in vast amounts for it (the demand from the industry is way down), she is really feeling worthless. This is a major reason she may have done the crotch shots. She thought it would put her back on top since she felt everyone wanted to see her. It of course backfired in a major way because of the way she did it (in a really trashy and tasteless way). It also shows how far away she is from understanding the public or her fans that are left. She is really out of touch with reality and herself. I feel that her mother, her manager Larry, and others have harmed her a lot by pushing her in to the Lolita sex image product that she is sold as. This has made her cave in and feel worthless. Real nice people she has around her don’t you think? People that care far more about what money they can squeeze out of her so they can live the big life, then care about her as a person, or get her real help when she needs it. Can everyone say “Mommy Dearest”?

She gets involved in a lot of lawsuits (which she creates), and has bad business dealings a lot also. Her restaurant NYLA went broke. She was sued by NIKE some years back and lost. She was sued by a t-shirt company (the only one she won). She sued US magazine and lost and others she has been in. Suing, lawyers, and court cases cost a huge amount of money. She does not have a large income at this time. She has been spending far more in the last three years then she has brought in. If you check all of her divorce papers, other filings, and documents, she only has about $32 million left. Those records are public record and are in the papers filed since the courts have to decide how to split the money for the children. She has gone from $150 million about four years ago down to $32 million. That is a loss of $118 million in four years. And remember it is probably well under $32 million because of all the expenses mentioned above. This is why she is so desperate to put out a new CD. She is not acting smart, and I am sure a lot of people are taking her money all the time, not just K-Fed, since she is always partying and going crazy. When a star falls, it’s not uncommon for everyone to take a part of the pie (their money). Look at Michael Jackson, Elvis, and many others.

She may even lose her kids, which is up to the judge and not her fans or their opinions. I work in the legal profession and see how the courts and judges rule all the time. She does not know how to manage her money or kids and be a good and stable mother. The children came out of her; they instinctively know she is their mommy. A Nanny is not the biological mother. The images that the tabloids constantly print of her and her actions can be, and will be, used in court. And it will damage her greatly. In fact, the tabloids are doing her far more harm than any of her "past fans", or "haters", can do all together. The courts will not care about the "past fans", or "haters", opinions. But they will care very much about the pictures and films the tabs have shown which can be used in court. If she keeps going like this, she will also lose the rest of her money in a few more years (around five years or so).

The current Britney fans seem to only care about image (hair color, makeup, clothes, and partying all the time, etc.), and not substance (such as facts, or Britney’s kids, or professionalism for Britney's business). And for the fans that keep saying Britney’s life is nobody's business, you are wrong. She became famous because of us. She puts herself out there all the time and shows off her "supposed" personal life on purpose to get the attention she needs so badly. She wants the attention. She is in our faces all the time and on purpose. We can judge her anytime we want. There is no law against it. If no one ever judged then no one could ever correct a wrong or point out something destructive, or see the difference between right and wrong, good or bad. It is everyone’s right to judge. She is acting such a fool lately that many should judge her, and they do. She is a celebrity shoving her personal life in everyone’s face on purpose and in a gross and desperate way. She makes her money by selling us all her products. If we do not want to buy her products anymore because we don't like her anymore, or what she or her products stand for now, then that is our right and we do not have to accept her or her tactics. We can boycott and/or say we don’t like her; it is our legal right to do so. We can say what we want, and judge her all we want. Just like Britney's fans can have their say, and judge her as fit or not doing anything wrong by neglecting her kids, etc.

And just because her kids are not your kids does not mean we can't care about their well being when she is being such a flake about it. She parties almost every night from around 6PM to 5AM or 6AM. She then has to sleep, probably 10 hours or so to get over the hangover. She also stated "herself" in a couple interviews that I saw of her some years back that she loves to sleep about 10 to 12 hours threw the day. Then we see her out in the afternoon shopping a lot without her kids. Then she goes back to partying all night. She is not spending much time at all with her kids. If you are a mother and truly love your babies then you instinctively want to be with them all the time because you love them. They are the most important of anything to a real mother. It is so funny how the current Britney fans always scream about how the rest of us should not judge, or don't have the right to judge, when they are far more judgmental then anyone else, and they judge everyone else that is not a Britney fan.

People that are unhappy in their lives and have lives that are out of control tend to party a lot and be unprofessional as a solution to their “unhappiness” and “neediness”. They end up doing a lot of crazy things and eventually self destruct. They are not professional and do not have their life in control. They are also not responsible and end up losing a lot in life and losing control of their lives eventually. These are the same people that don't care about kids, such as Britney’s kids, and justify what Britney does so they can “hope” she will give them another CD so it might make them happy. That is so sad that they would prefer a CD from her to make themselves feel better, over her kids being raised properly by her, the actual biological mother, and her love. That is why the current Britney fans justify her crazy actions and her major child neglect; it’s so they don’t have to feel guilty about Britney’s babies. That way they can try to enjoy their Idols talk of a new CD without feeling guilty. It seems that the current Britney fans are far more selfish then they are aware of. And by the way, she is looking more and more trailer trash everyday, she does not look beautiful. She is on alcohol and drugged up a lot. That is a major way to destroy your life. Look at the history of all the celebrities that have destroyed their careers and died from it. You can also check a bunch of her current pictures against the ones from years ago when she was doing great and still looked fresh and young. She does not look that way anymore, not even close. She really was happy back then and smiled all the time. Now when she smiles, which is not often, it is hiding a lot of pain and misery. Just look deeper and you will see it there. The problem is that she has caused this all on her own, with her selfishness and stupid tactics. She has gone crazy and really needs professional care. I used to be a really big fan of hers. But the Britney now is literally someone completely different. This is not even the same person. Just like Justin said, he does not even know who she is now, and all the fans that have left, which is the vast majority, don't know who this woman is now. Britney left some time ago, Sad.
