Have Marcia Cross' Hats Taken Over The World?

All of a sudden, everyone is wearing hats this summer! First it was just Marcia Cross (and, well, Britney Spears - that's an odd combo!), but now so is Lindsay and Paris, even Ashlee Simpson and Kimberly Stewart. We even just spotted Hairspray "heartthrob" Zac Efron wearing one! When will the madness end? Only on a bad hair day should you wear a hat, or if what you're wearing is so outrageous, you need a hat to distract from it, as is the case with the following pic below the cut...

Well I have CANCER and NO hair. Do you know who I feel when people turn around to look and say "ONLY ON A BAD HAIR DAY SHOULD YOU WEAR A HAT OR TO COVER UP UR UGLY OUTFIT"? Thank GOD for BRITNEY and them all that started wearing hats. Atleast I feel better about it!

It is socially irresponsible and just plain ignorant to make the statement that hats should never be worn. Hats are a major part of sun protection not only for the prevention of skin cancer of all types but also for wrinkle causing UVA rays. I guess YOU don't care about being old and wrinkly!
Hats are okay. They gotta fit the face though. The wrong shape can make you look really stupid. You can tell if someone works out by their neck. Britney does not.

EVERYONE should wear a hat, ALWAYS, if they're in the sun. I've had a melanoma and believe me, I don't care how my hat looks. You should use your website to promote skin cancer awareness,not criticize it. These famous young women are doing a good job of taking care of their skin. Now if they could just stop smoking...
