I challenge you to find even ONE advertisment with a celebrity endorsing a product that hasn't been retouched or airbrushed or photoshopped. Even PLAYBOY airbrushes and they aint peddling nuttin but flesh.
I saw a before (airbrush) and after (aribrush) photo of the beautiful Faith Hill and was stunned to see how much work the production companies put into making thier "model" look perfect. NOBODY IS PERFECT. Oh! Jessica Alba, too! She's a living doll, but still gets "done up" by modern technology for promotional photos. It is what it is.

In a hearing held Wednesday afternoon, a witness testified that Britney Spears received a pre-paid cell phone from Sam Lutfi’s sister inside a hotel sauna, at her request.

During a hearing at the Los Angeles Superior Court regarding a restraining order against Lutfi, Christine Lutfi, 25, testified that she met Spears on the fifth floor gym of the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills on January 16.

She told the court: “Britney was working out with her mother at the time. When she came to meet me inside the sauna I gave her the phone- which I told her was from Sam and Adnan [Ghalib]- she then took the phone and placed it inside a locker.”

Lutfi earlier revealed that Spears had called her on Sam’s cell phone requesting help. “She said she was scared of her father and wanted a way to get a cell phone,” she added. “She asked me if Sam could help her get a lawyer.”

The sister of former Britney Spears manager Sam Lutfi has testified that the pop singer sought his help and repeatedly tried to contact him in recent months.

Attorneys for Spears' father and conservatorship seek to extend a restraining order against Osama "Sam" Lutfi that forbids contact with the singer. They said at a Wednesday hearing in Los Angeles that Lutfi violated the order in December and January.

Christina Lutfi was introduced as a last-minute witness after a judge rejected a motion to dismiss the restraining order.

Her testimony came as a surprise to many: The 25-year-old told a judge she had spoken with Spears, who wanted a new attorney and claimed to fear her father. Jamie Spears has control over his daughter's personal and financial affairs.

Does Britney Spears want out from under her daddy's thumb? Or is it her source of protection?

Those were the dueling storylines that emerged in a Los Angeles courtroom today, when attorneys on both sides gave testimony on whether to extend the restraining orders barring former manager/sidekick Sam Lutfi and other hangers-on from having contact with the "Toxic" singer.

Attorney John Anderson took the stand this morning and told Superior Court Commissioner Aviva K. Bobb that he was asked to represent the pop star in a battle to free her from the conservatorship controlled by her father, Jamie Spears.

"A person who purported to be Lutfi told me that all of Britney Spears' phone rights were cut off," he said, adding that he was also told the mother of two was under tight control by her father and virtually "in prison."

But just hours later, longtime Spears attorney Blair Berk took the stand and said it was the singer who asked her father to help keep Lutfi away from her, repeatedly requesting he be taken into police custody.

"She repeatedly asked if I could get him arrested for what he'd done to her and to get the court to order him to stay away from her," Berk said, adding that Lutfi threatened to release embarrassing information about Spears and her father.

Berk further claimed that she found an overnight envelope sent to Spears from attorney Jon Eardley in a car leased by the singer for Lutfi. Eardley, who was brought into the mix last year by Lutfi, made a "blatant" solicitation to work as her counsel, Berk said. Berk told the court she was informed by Spears on several occasions that she neither knew Eardley nor wanted him to work for her.

As for those leaked voicemails in which Spears supposedly is heard trolling for new legal representation, Berk said she did not believe the voice was actually that of the Circus singer, as "the words, terms, phrases were not ones she had ever used before."

She did, however, admit the voice did bear a slight resemblance to the pop star.

"Moments it sounded like Spears and moments it didn't," she said, adding that the tape "sounded like it had been edited."

As for Anderson, he testified earlier in the day that he drew up papers to be retained as Britney's counsel last year and, in turn, received copies back allegedly signed by Spears herself.

He said he was made aware that another court-appointed attorney had already been assigned to Spears, but was told the singer was "not confident" in the other legal eagle's abilities and wanted to hire a new representative in the courtroom.

Eventually, Anderson told the court, he did contact the attorneys representing Spears' conservatorship, who dissuaded him from attempting to further pursue working for the star.

Anderson said he voluntarily ended his involvement in the Spears legal debacle on Jan. 28 of this year, after learning Jamie Spears and the conservatorship were getting temporary restraining orders against Lutfi, former Britney boyfriend Adnan Ghalib and Eardley.

The orders were obtained Jan. 30. During his testimony in February, Jamie Spears said he had evidence the trio was trying to undermine the conservatorship, and he labeled ostensible mastermind Lutfi a "predator."

This afternoon, Lutfi's sister, Christina, testified that she answered her brother's phone one time when Britney was calling to ask Sam to find her a new lawyer.

Britney said that "they" wouldn't let her talk on the phone, said Christina Lutfi, who testified that she was the one who slipped the singer a prepaid cell phone on behalf of her brother and Ghalib at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills on Jan. 16. The ladies arranged to meet in the sauna after Britney was done working out with her mom, Ms. Lutfi said.

And, Ms. Lutfi said, she—and not her brother, as the Spears camp has alleged in its keep-away petition—was the one who called Britney "numerous times to make sure she was OK."

For his part, Lutfi has filed suit against the Spearses—Britney, for unpaid management fees, and Jamie and Lynn, for slander as well as a host of other grievances.

Last month, Bobb extended the restraining order against Ghalib to three years, after the former paparazzo failed to show at any of his three previous hearings on the matter. Today's hearing will help the commissioner determine whether to do likewise for Lutfi and Eardley.

Eardley's attorney, Roger Diamond, tells E! he is surprised that his client's motion to dismiss was denied.

"I was virtually certain that the judge would grant the motion since there no basis to the statute that they are using to prosecute Mr. Eardley."

As to why the order against Lutfi should be tossed, attorney Bryan Freedman said, "I do not believe that [the conservatorship has] shown substantial emotional distress."

Closing statements are scheduled to take place April 21.

Judge Throws Out Eardley Claim -- Again

On Monday, a Court of Appeals ruled that a claim challenging Britney Spears' conservatorship was totally bogus, this time not even waiting for the singer's conservators to file a response. Jon Eardley, who claims Britney hired him to represent her, had filed a claim once again stating the conservatorship violated her civil rights.

Last month, Eardley filed a similar claim that was also rejected.

But now, OK! can confirm that Britney was at least originally party to bringing Eardley in as her attorney. Britney spoke to Eardley via a third party back in the early days of the conservatorship, using a paparazzi pal to set up a conference call so that her father, Jamie Spears, wouldn't find out. (Jamie currently monitors all of Britney's phone calls.)

In a phone transcript obtained by OK!, Britney says to Eardley: "Basically I want my life back. I want to drive my car. I want to live in my house alone. I want to pick my own security, see who I want to see and make it happen."

During the phone call, Britney can be heard speaking in her English accent.

Source Claims Lufti Has Threats From Britney's Dad On Tape

Sam Lufti has audiotape of Britney Spears' dad Jamie threatening him, a person close to the case told RadarOnline.com exclusively. This person, who is scared to go on the record, claims to have heard the tapes and predicts they will soon be part of court proceedings.

Jamie Spears obtained a restraining order against Lufti and Adnan Ghalib last week.

Lufti also claims to have video of Britney talking about how much she hates her father, another source told RadarOnline.com. It is not yet clear what Lufti intends to do with this material but he has not responded to repeated attempts by RadarOnline.com to comment. Attempts to reach Jamie Spears have also been unsuccessful.

Attorneys for Spears' father and conservatorship are seeking a long-standing restraining order against Osama "Sam" Lutfi, a manager and close confidant of the singer during her personal meltdown, that forbids him from contacting her.

They reiterated Wednesday that in December and January, Lutfi violated an agreement between him and Jamie Spears not to contact the "Circus" singer. That accord was reached last summer, after Jamie Spears agreed not to seek an extension to a temporary restraining order issued when he took control of his daughter's affairs.

Christina Lutfi said Britney Spears told her that she was afraid of her father and needed her brother's help to hire her own attorney. The 25-year-old was introduced as a surprise witness Wednesday, moments after a judge rejected a motion to dismiss the restraining order.

She was also the last witness in a hearing that has spanned three months. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Aviva K. Bobb continued temporary orders until she hears closing arguments April 21.

Christina Lutfi said her brother gave her a prepaid cell phone, which she secretly gave to Spears at a hotel sauna, so that the two could contact each other. She said she repeatedly called the number, trying to make sure the singer was safe.

She claimed she used her brother's cell phone in recent months. But under questioning by Jamie Spears' attorneys, Christina Lutfi could not recall the phone number of one of her brother's cell phones, nor the phone she said she'd handed to Spears.

She also acknowledged that she shared the cell phone with her brother at their parents' home, where a landline is installed.

Jamie Spears testified in February that he eventually found and confiscated the phone, which indicated communications to Lutfi and his daughter's ex-boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib. The phone's discovery, and a series of late-night and early phone calls from Lutfi, led to the current restraining order application.

Jamie Spears has controlled his daughter's personal and financial affairs since last February, when he intervened after the singer had to be hospitalized twice. The singer's mother, Lynne Spears, accused Lutfi at the time of grinding pills into her daughter's food to control her.

The process server was trying to serve him with the temporary restraining order then he hit him with his car which led to the felony charges. And yes, the narrative was compounded by unsubstantiated stories. People who claimed to love AND hate him challenged his male pride.

Next up on the stand was Daniel William Haynes, a former roommate of Lutfi who testified that he had to take out a restraining order against Sam after only five months of living together. The main purpose of Haynes' testimony was to help prove that Sam had previously used the screenname "CityGalIn310" — the same screenname that later sent Britney and her father e-mails and texts.
