Not all people who are defending brit are her fans. Maybe, they are people who do not like to see some one being kicked around while they are down or perhaps they just do not feel all this negativity heaped upon Brit is right or perhaps it is the down right nastiness that is constantly being thrown her way. I see the VMA fiasco is already happily forgotten. That is how fried brain with lots of drug-induced holes works. And of course, she was STARVED not getting her daily dose of pap attention for a few days in row. It must have been horrible.

Here's what actually went down - the only cleaning up was done by the judge. Which X17 so conveniently "forgets" to report.

A Los Angeles judge confirmed this week what we’ve all suspected all along, that Britney Spears still has a substance abuse problem.

And, if she wants to keep her two kids, she’s gonna have to get sober and stay clean!

“Based on the evidence presented, the Court finds that there is a habitual, frequent, and continuous use of controlled substances by Petitioner [Spears],” will have to undergo testing for controlled substances and alcohol. The testing shall be conducted twice per week on random dates and times, and the results will be forwarded to the court.

In addition to drug testing, Britney and Kevin will have to both adhere to a long list of court-ordered demands:

· Neither Brit nor K-fed can take Sean and Jayden out of state without the written consent of the other.

· Both parents must complete the “Parenting Without Conflict” program.

· Each party is restrained from using corporal punishment with the children or allowing anyone else to.

· They are required to engage in joint co-parenting counseling.

· Neither party may consume alcohol or non-prescription controlled substances 12 hours prior to taking custody of the children.

· They must ensure that any prospective childcare professionals hold valid Red Cross infant CPR training.

While the responsibilities for Federline end there, Judge Gordon tacked on an extra list of tasks for Spears. In order to maintain the current shared custody agreement, the popstar must:

· Attend individual counseling at least once a week to address parenting issues.

· Meet with a parenting coach for a minimum of 8 hours a week, in at least two sessions a week. The coach is to observe her parenting skills and her interaction with her sons and provide Federline with a written progress report by October 22.

I especially love the unexpected twice weekly drug and alcohol testing. Let's see how long she can stay clean. My bet is: not longer than two weeks. If the results report her clean it will be because she has bribed testers.

Why do the people keep saying the judge called her a drug addict? I read the order and it said "there is evidence" of drug and alcohol abuse..not "Britney your a druggie and a lush". If that was the case she would have lost custody on monday. I know this is what perez hilton is saying and i know some of minions are on here but the judge didn't say that. Just because there evidence doesn't mean it is a fact. Evidence can be refuted and in fact proven wrong which is probably why the judge ordered Brit to be tested twice a week randomly to see if the evidence is true or not because the only evidence she has hearsay you can't make a fair ruling on that. So I say bravo to the judge for taking this step, even though I would have tested kevin also.

Family support is more than just let just refusing to enable. It's about being there through thick and thin. yes, there are time when backing off and letting some one stumble and fall is necessary but the extent to which the Spears family is doing it is ridiculous. As a mother myself I know if I was reading the kinds things being written about my daughter that is being written about Britney I would have issue a very strong statement telling every one to "BACK OFF" and let the family deal with this in private. Here we go again....the judge is not going to take away her children just because she went to a night club....that is not proof of neglect (especially if kids are with kevin), use of drugs or consumption of alcohol. I never comment on anything and I personally think that sometimes X17 has on rose colored glasses when they are looking at Ms. Spears.
