In Case You Missed It

Between all the action at the jail, the beach, and Criss Angel's hotel room, it's been a particularly crazy day in celebland - here's a quick recap in case you were too busy getting all your work done before the weekend:
- Is magic still in the air between Britney Spears and Criss Angel? It certainly seems that way - after getting her club on at Opera (where we also spotted Paris Hilton), Britney snuck away to rumored paramour Criss Angel's hotel room for a little late-night fun! Of course, as it has a habit of doing, "late night" eventually turned into "morning" - our videographer spotted Britney leaving at 9 AM!
- Talk about a beach body - one look at Jennifer Aniston's bikini-clad form and we practically lose our ability to write readable sentences monkey apple handstand sausages - wait, what were we talking about again?
- As Tom continued to film Valkyrie in Germany, Katie & Suri concluded their mother-daughter bonding session - and, aside from one terrifying skinned knee, the results couldn't be much cuter!
- And, of course, Nicole Richie served her entire prison sentence in less time than it took you to read this sentence!

TMZ has learned that officials from the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals were out at Britney's house today to investigate why her dog was wearing a cast. We're country y'all!
Madeline Bernstein, President of SPCA - LA, told TMZ tonight, "We have received various sources of complaints throughout the day. Some said that Britney's Yorkie dog was injured and had a cast on and some said the dog had a broken leg and was not treated. After the calls started pouring in, we did go to Britney's house today [on Mulholland Drive] but were just able to leave a note with the housekeeper. The matter is not if the dog had an accident, but if the dog is getting proper care."
Madeline also told us they haven't heard back from Britney yet. "Britney is out of town," Bernstein tells us, "but we hope to have an answer soon and get the matter resolved pretty quickly."
Britney Spears, paranoid about safety after a batch of crazed fanmail, has beefed up security and enrolled in the kind of hardcore Israeli combat techniques Matt Damon uses in The Bourne Ultimatum.
The pop star is reported to be terrified someone is out to harm her and her young sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.
So now she’s taking steps to en sure she can take care of herself.
A source close to Spears says: “She has beefed up security and, told them about the mail. She is doing her best to make a comeback, but she is terrified about the negative attention she is getting."
And now she’s fighting fit after signing up for Krav Maga training. “She realises she does not have

If you ask me, it's the Britney Fans who are insane. Anyone who comes on this site and says something negative is automatically labeled a Hater. This comment blog is for everyone. That's why it's here, for opinions. You fans get so damn emotional about everything, to the point of believing you're Britney's personal publicist. If she is really that great, why do you even bother defending her? Let her behavior speak for itself. Repeating it 10 different times won't matter. It seems to me, you are the ones who have No Life. People who express an opinion are just being honest about what they see. Fans are obsessive and look ignorant trying to cram it down anyone who disagrees throat. Animal Cruelty Prevention Group Investigating Britney Spears
Representatives Went to Spears' Home on Friday
Aug. 24, 2007 (KABC-TV) - First there were concerns Britney Spears was not a good parent, now there are concerns she's not a good pet owner either.
Eyewitness News has learned that Spears is being investigated by the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals because of reports her dog is wearing a cast because of a broken leg.
Representatives from the SPCA went to Spears' Beverly Hills home Friday, but neither Spears or the puppy were there.
They left a message for Spears to call them. The SPCA tells us they hope to resolve the matter quickly.
Britney made Alli take the puppy into the vet's office(Aug. 3rd) while Britney sat in the car. Here are pics of the dog in a cast(Aug. 8th).

Omg I just saw those pics of that poor lil puppy. So sad. Yeah britney was crying because she knew it was all her fault. That's why she made Alli go in at the vet's. Then Alli comes out and lies that it was just a checkup. I hope they nail all of them for lying, and take that poor puppy away.
It's a never-ending battle! On Friday, August 3rd, Ms. Spears dropped off her dog London (with cousin Alli) at a Beverly Hills vet for a checkup. Britney stayed in the car and, while she was waiting, become frustrated with the paps blocking her way and called in for police reinforcements. The pop singer was finally able to move and the road was cleared when Alli eventually returned with the healthy pup. Just another day in the life of a superstar!
She says she loves her kids but treats them like crap.. Oh the film of those children crying in the back of the car, while she cusses out photographers, she loved following her.. was wonderful! Driving for hours to make them sleep instead of playing with them in the yard and doing the normal things mommies do to get them ready for naps is another... Taking them out to eat late at night, far beyond their bedtimes, so their sleeping suits her lifestyle? Can't they have normal days and nights and she go about her business, like working moms do? Has she no help at home? I have to think it's a lie she saying she loves them to save face and she's overwhelmed and hating mother hoood.. and she's hoping they will be taken from her so she is free and single again. NOBODY is so abusive and stupid as this and pretends it's just that she's new to the world and doesn't know better so many times!

The martial arts thing sounds weird, and not sure if it is true. Maybe if she wouldn't make it so easy for the paps and everyone else, she wouldnt have security problems.

Britney Spears was on her way to Las Vegas last night, most likely to visit Criss Angel, when cops tried to pull her over on the freeway for speeding. Brit kept going for about a mile even though the fuzz were blaring their lights at her ass. She finally pulled off the freeway into a gas station where another cop car was waiting for her.
When asked why she was speeding dumbass used the same tired excuse, "I was being chased by the paparazzi." The cops let her ass go and according to SplashNews one of the cops was overheard saying "It pays to be a popstar."
Ain't that the truth!
I know this is awful to say...well not really....but a Britney Spears mugshot would completely make 2007 the greatest year in the history of years. The mugshot wall would be complete with Blohan, Paris, Richie and Brit!
