When we caught Britney getting a frap at Starbucks yesterday, we couldn't help but notice how much the pop princess is looking like her former self - and in a totally good way!
Remember the hot, blonde Britney with abs of steel? The one who loved prancing around onstage in tight pleather corsets? Well, by the looks of it, Britney Spears is ready for her return, and she wants this comeback more than anything. Just like she sings on the title track on her upcoming album, "All eyes on me in the center of the ring / Just like a circus," all eyes will be on Britney in the weeks to come. Think she's finally ready to reclaim her throne?

Ironic how Shitney can make a court appearance when it's about HER tour and album release, but was unable to do so when it was about the custody of her two children. The kids have Kevin and don't need their Mother to function. Remember how long they went without having to see her earlier in the year and they're apparently doing alright. Let the has-been pop tart go on tour and make a major fool of herself while the children spend their time with their Father. "Queen B" has stunted mental growth, which is why she still deems herself to be 16 years old. The only problem with this theory is WHERE DO HER KIDS FIT IN??? She apparently seems to forget they exist when they're not in the same room as her. It's a good thing Kevin got permanent 100% custody of the boys and Shitney is merely a ship passing in the night to them. When she's on tour, working on her "major comeback" (huh??) she won't remember she's got children. But, the boys won't remember they have a mother when they get a bit older, so it's a draw. The American Music Awards, presented Sunday during a live broadcast on ABC, will keep with its long-held tradition of wedging prizes in between action-packed performances.
"This year more than ever," said Orly Adelson, president of Dick Clark Productions, which puts on the show. "We have 19 performances, which we've never done before. Every big artist this year said yes, and we wanted them all."
Miley Cyrus won't just sing, she'll celebrate her "Sweet 16" on the show, she said.
New Kids on the Block will perform a medley of songs, including their new single, marking their return to the AMAs after 17 years.
Coldplay and Leona Lewis will make their American Music Award debuts, and Alicia Keys and Sarah McLachlan will perform with yet-to-be-announced artists in genre-crossing mash-ups.
Other artists slated to perform include Mariah Carey, Pink, Ne-Yo, Taylor Swift and Annie Lennox, who will receive the Award of Merit, an honour previously bestowed on Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Frank Sinatra and James Brown, among others.
There will be other awards, too, chosen by online voters in 21 categories.
Keys leads nominees with five nods, including artist of the year and favourite female artist in both the pop/rock and soul/R&B categories.
Coldplay and the Eagles have four nominations each, while Chris Brown and Lil Wayne have three apiece.
All are also contenders for artist of the year.
"We do need the awards, because it goes back to the fact that this is a show for the fans," Adelson said. "Fans are determining the winners, and that's what makes it exciting."

She still can't sing, she still can't organize a normal life so she needs to be under conservatorship, and she is still a child abuser which is a criminal act. Even her own parents agreed it was best to remove the kids from her home. Only with lots of money and by giving up the custody plus by agreeing to conservatorship was she able to avoid the charges.
