I was about to die...I cannot erase that painful memory..
I've been looking everything from a very different perspective since that day.That's true,I'm not allowed to drive

Linda, I was in an auto accident (a speeding drunk driver demolished my car) many years ago and I couldn't drive for 4 yrs. In fact, I could barely ride in a car (or any moving vehicle, like a bus or subway) without fear or panic, because of psychological trauma, until I had therapy. Honey, I understand completely.

I have never talked to you before. It sounds like you have anxiety attacks. Maybe it's Post Traumatic Stress Disorder brought on by that accident. Has you doctor ever mentioned that. If there is not a physical problem that is causing that chest pain then it probably is anxiety attacks. They get worse if you do not get on some medication for them. I get them too and I take a very mild tranquilizer. Klonopin, 1 mg 3 x daily and it changed my life. They are a drug that is in the bezodiazepate family of drugs but they are not as harsh at least to me as taking a valium or a zanex. I have been in a wreck before too and my mouth was tore off at the bottom and they had to put it back on and I broke one front tooth off halfway when I hit the dash. Today you would never know I was in that wreck to look at me. They put me back together again but the psychological impact was harsh. There were 7 people in the truck 5 in the camper shell in the back. One female broke her back and one broke her leg and the guys just got scratches. I got hurt the most hitting the dash and the guy who was driving we do not know because he was drinking and nobody knew he was drunk until after his friend told us he was drinking earlier that day and we were just going 6 blocks and had not been around him and did not know him but we opted to take the ride he offered to get back to our cars. It was Mardi Gras in Galveston Texas and friends of friends so to speak, only one guy knew him. He was only going 30 mph and he ran off the road and hit a concrete culvert head on. It was so slow motion. I saw it coming but the others did not being in the front seat. No airbags. He disappeared. He had been living with my friend in Galveston for 6 months and he was never found by the cops or the guy he was staying with either. He just vanished. He did not even come back for his clothes. Weird huh. Boy did I learn my lesson. Now I would rather walk and I drive myself but I am fearful to let others drive me around. The anxiety is the worst part. People drive crazy these days talking on cell phones and yelling at their kids while trying to drive and it is just dangerous out there on the highways. In Texas you can no longer talk on cell phones while driving. You have to have a earpiece. I hope you feel better. Auto accidents are scary.
