Okay, I have to add my piece. First of all, 13 and 14 year olds are not into Britney Spears. Girls that age are listening to Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers, Taylor Swift et al. Second of all, the sexism in X17's statement is conspicuous. It's not okay for a 14 year old girl to attend Britney's concert, but it would be okay for a 15 year old BOY to attend? And what about it being okay for teenage girls to attend concerts by boy bands who often rip off their shirts or gyrate on stage.

It’s a strange site but I was happy to learn some of her fans refuse bow to peer pressure and suppress their negative opinions. Some are discussing the exact same issues we have been discussing (i.e. lip-synching, walking rather than dancing and her extremely regrettable costumes). The same can be said for fans and non-fans on other sites.

One of the most nauseating aspects of Britney's new show is how desperately she is trying to rip off Madonna. From onstage kisses at the MTV Awards to onstage visits the last time Madonna played Los Angeles, Britney Spears has never made any secret how much she idolizes the Material Girl. Yet, you have to give Madonna this, as much as she grafts from Gay and Dance culture, the 50-year old singer is relentless in her construction of the semblance of professionalism and originality, even if she is all the later and so little of the former.

Britney Spears, as these shots from last night's show in New Orleans reveal, is neither. For one, a few more sit-ups might be in order. Secondly, c'mon, that's the best you can do? Stealing Madonna's look isn't flattery, it's desperate.

With one performance before a crowd of people in her home state of louisiana britney spears proved that she is back. She has single handedly altered humanity as we all know it with her ground breaking appearance before a sold out crowd. She was able to blow people away with her mind blowing moves that left people breathless. This was the event of the millennium.
