He shoudl be getting a lot more than he is asking cause it seems he is the only person who was able to get through to her. I am glad she is showing signs of getting better and being a good parent. She should thank her lucky stars she has a dad like her's who is willing to look out for her.

I cannot wait for the day when Britney can finally speak up for herself and her parents. The first fact that was left out of this story; Jamie Spears had his own business as a personal chef and caterer. Initially, he was still trying to do his job but Britney wanted him around all the time--this was released in court documents in March. Something that many of you probably don't know or understand is that adults have these things called bills. They include the mortgage, car notes, insurance, light bills, gas bills, groceries; etc. Ask your parents about bills--they don't just go away because your child is ill, creditors don't just go--oh, that's ok, you can pay us when your daughter is better. The part that the biased and moronic writing team of x17 continues to leave out is that Britney has been found--by a court to be unable to care for herself. If she were not rich enough to provide the care for herself, the state would provide it for her in a hospital psych ward. We can all keep trying to blame her parents, blame Kevin, blame the media but the reality is that Britney is not well. It was so obvious for about a year leading up to her breakdown that it was coming. This isn't about money, this is about a father who loves his daughter so he has given up his own life in order to help his daughter get well. Yes, she is his daughter but she is an adult and he should be compensated for taking care of her. If he weren't compensated, what happens when Britney is better, the conservatorship is no longer necessary and her father's financial life is now ruined because he stopped paying his bills. This other thing that adult's have to worry about is called a credit score. It goes down when you don't pay your bills; this then makes it more difficult to do anything such as buy a new house, etc...it also causes your interest rate to go up which makes your bills higher. I wish people would stop trying to create drama where there is none and if you are really concerned about people's rights; there are millions of mentally ill people in the world who because they aren't rich are doing the best they can to get by in life with the little bit of help they get from the government. I'm sure that if any of you really knew Britney she would tell you that she is so grateful to have her father around and that giving him $120,000 a year--which I'm sure is less than what he was earning as a personal chef and caterer-- (that's what $10k per month is) when she probably is making that much in interest; is worth it to know that she has someone around her that she can trust completely.

I'm sorry he shouldn't be looking for any money. That's what being a loving parent is. That's their job to help their child. No matter the age or income of the child. Yes if money is needed for things for Britney yes it would come from her income and such but cmon fighting over what your daughter "owes" you...they got that backwards...
