Larry Rudolph: "My Loyalty Will Always Stay Strong With Britney"

Britney Spears may not have had the kindest words for her former manager Larry Rudolph in the past, but he's got nothing but the kindest words for her! Yes, the conspicuously absent Rudolph finally broke his press silence earlier today, talking for fifteen minutes with That Other Blog and giving an official statement. Predictably enough, Larry's statement is maddeningly short on concrete details (always the mark of a good manager!), but we were touched to see Larry's heartfelt declarations of unity with his embattled former client - not only does Larry claim to "understand...why she's said the things she said about me post rehab", but he even claims not to take it personally and claims that his "loyalty will always stay strong with Britney"!

Despite the things that Britney has publicly said about our relationship in the past, I truly understand where she’s coming from and why she’s said the things she said about me post rehab and I don’t take it personally. As her former manager, I know and understand Britney better than anyone, I know what makes her tick and I understand everything she’s going through. With that being said, my loyalty will always stay strong with Britney. I have consulted with my lawyers and I do understand that eventually the time will come when they will find me, but until then, I’m trying to avoid being brought into this mess. She’s going through so much right now and I wish Britney the best.

Actually Lawrence, Rudolph is NOT speaking up on Britney's behalf and that's the reason he's in hiding. Why would he not appear under subpoena if he only had good things to say about her? He would be under oath to tell the truth not lie, so why not? That in itself speaks volumes for what he knows.
What a strange thing to do. Call into a high profile radio show to say youre in hiding. doesnt make any sense. Bet he *cant wait* to say what he knows. hehe
As I said yesterday, it seems VERY telling that he is hiding out from the processor. Again, if the truth was on Britney's side, then why not make yourself available and tell it to the court? The "he won't get another A-list celeb if he testifies" excuse isn't working for me. That sounds like B.S. to me. More like he has some damaging knowledge about Britney and knows that perjury is serious business (as Lil Kim proved) so lying in court isn't advisable. Rudolph told E! News anchor Ryan Seacrest about his dilemma via BlackBerry messages over the weekend.
Seacrest said on his morning KISS-FM radio show Monday that Rudolph fears what he would have to say if made to testify "won't be good for Britney."
Rudolph claims he's also been avoiding the tabloids and would not divulge his whereabouts except to say he was in Maui with his children recently.

Gossip Girls have learned that a criminal investigation has been launched into an attempted assault with a deadly weapon involving the legal team of Kevin Federline.
According to the LAPD, Aaron Cohen, a former counter-terror commando in the Israeli army who now works for K-fed’s lawyer, was stuck while sitting in his car by Sam Osama Lufti driving a Mercedes. Aaron Cohen was on his way to serve a subpoena to Lufti, but Lufti recognized Cohen and decided to make an attempt at ending his life.
