Larry Says Brit Had A Breakdown Because She Was Bored

Britney's manager Larry Rudolph delved deep into some serious psychological analysis to come up with this one ...
He told the LA Times, in response to the interviewer politely asking if, when Brit says her life is like "jail" in her upcoming MTV doc, things really have "changed" for her since her breakdown at the end of last year/beginning of 2008:
- "There was a stretch where she became very unbusy in terms of her career. I think she got into some trouble because maybe she had too much free time on her hands. She likes to work. In many ways, she's defined by her career."
And this is the best question from the interview ...
One thing that struck me in the footage shown was that she didn’t always seem very happy. She looked sullen during quite a bit of it. Why do you think she keeps going? She's putting out another album, going on tour…
- "I think she keeps going because she knows there's a beginning, middle and end to this. She realizes that there are better times ahead. She's already in a much better place than she was not that long ago and she knows that she's going to be in a better place a month from now, six months from now, a year from now, etc. That's what keeps her going. She's doing what she loves right now. Every day she's found more happiness in her life."
Gee, I always liken my perfect life to "jail" too! It's a sure sign of happiness!

Where did he say she was bored? He basically said she had way too much free time on her hands. She's use to working and having a schedule. During her breakdown she had nothing to do and ran into the wrong people.

Ok, first of all he didn't say she had a breakdown b/c she was bored but he did have a point. All of Britney's problems started when she wasn't working so he's pointing out the correlation. I'm glad that For the Record is going to be raw & show Britney's true feelings but for him as a manager he's going to want to talk about her in nothing but the positive. What should he say? Often when one has an extremely high IQ it is difficult to understand where others are coming from and it can be quite frustrating. I realize that many of you have not educated yourselves about what it means to have an extremely high IQ and that it being a genius does not necessarily mean you are well versed in all things. Britney knows how to bring it on to the show. She has had her up and downs in her life but a lot of it has to do with as she grew up her mind continued to race faster and faster and she became accustomed to self medicating and was sleep deprived. After years of living that way a person will crash. Britney did but thank God she had some people that love her there to catch her when she fell. She may well crash again but I do not think it will be on this tour. I think she will pull it off and the world will embrace her and then she will go rest. I pray that she gets some therapy and educates herself about what her brain is doing. It is not uncommon but for us that have manic episodes followed by depression we do understand it and we know it is not a bad thing but it is something one must learn to cope with and monitor. Living a happy, healthy life is possible once you understand what your body is telling you. That is when things will balance for Britney. It will God willing and in God's time. This documentary was done ., in my opinion a little bit too early, because Brit is still in a transistional stage. Meaning, as each day passes she will become stronger and better and will forget the bad phase that happened to her.
She is doing wonderful. But hope she gets a little more rest during her tour, and does not always stay on the high. That is not normal, and she needs the down for rest, relaxation and balance.
She was never diagnosed with bipolar disorder and that rumor has definitely died out.
She got involved with bad people, period.
