Hey Teresa I guess you have never seen Britney in concert because at her concerts she does sit down and usually do one song without lip syncing so shut up unless you know what you are talking about. Music producer Timbaland, who guided pop singers Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado to the top of the charts, has said he wants to help Britney Spears take back her pop music throne.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly (the March 16th issue), the music producer stated he felt Spears’ “pain” and that it bothered him because he was “the type of person who tries to save the world."

The dance track debuted late Thursday on New York radio station Z-100's website. By Friday morning, it was on YouTube in a video titled "Britney Spears —Gimme More (Official Full-Length Version)."
"It was a good, contemporary first listen," says Sean Ross, vice president, music and programming, at Edison Media Research. "It was a more immediate record for me, even, than (Spears' 2003 hit) Toxic."
Ross says the song fits in with today's radio format, and program directors aren't likely to shun it in light of Spears' recent troubles. "I don't think there's any program director in the Top 40 world that would not play it because it's her."

NEW YORK (AP) -- It seems like forever since Britney Spears had six-pack abs and a hit song on the charts. But the fallen pop princess -- tarnished by a tumultuous divorce, late-night partying and erratic behavior -- is trying to get her music career back on track.

Sharon Dastur, a program director at Z100, says listener response has been positive.
"A lot of people automatically had a negative attitude about it before hearing it," she said. "And then the reaction we've been getting, you know, people are so pleasantly surprised by it. You also have the people who have just been cheering on her comeback anyway."
Spears, whose activities have been tabloid fodder since she split from Kevin Federline last November, hasn't released an album of all-new material since 2003's "In the Zone." She came out with a greatest-hits album in 2004, which included a cover of Bobby Brown's "My Prerogative."
Spears, the mother of two young sons, has been taking baby steps toward a comeback. She has said she'd hoped to jump back into the music scene this year, and in May, staged several concerts at clubs in California. And it's been reported that Spears is to perform at this year's MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas. When asked about the possibility by The Associated Press, the show's producer coyly professed ignorance.
While her escapades may have alienated many of her fans, Spears can slip back into their good graces by teaming up with the right people: the music-makers behind some of today's hottest tracks, Dastur said.
"At the end of the day, it is really all about the actual songs," Dastur said. "Her people have to make sure that she's being produced the right way. That the songs are the right songs for her to be coming out with."

I just read all these comments out of curiosity and I have to say I'm amazed at the number of people who actually think that crap song is even remotely listenable, much less good. I heard about the first 45 seconds of it and had to turn it off, the urge to barf was too strong. I think this is a reflection of the overall pathetic state of our culture in general, pop culture in particular. You all are willing to swill offal, apparently, and say you like it as it goes down!

What's even more amazing is that x17 can post pictures of her looking like a greasy, demented sow, and then fawn all over this "comeback single" monstrosity like they're actually taking it seriously, and like they somehow failed to notice that their own pictures make her look stunningly bad! She is, in a word, repulsive.
What with the bad skin, bloated body, unspeakable fashion sense and of course, the greasy, tangled fake hair, Britney is hard on the eyes to put it mildly. That makes it even harder to swallow this pop-y, overproduced garbage she's trying to pass off as "music" (not that I ever liked her stuff in the first place anyway). Seriously, are you people blind? Deaf?
It wouldn't matter about her looks if she had some sort of amazing personality or did wonderful things for the world she lives in, or had something (anything!) to say, but she offers none of that. In a music world that is increasingly dominated by sex-bots, she is clearly failing - an over-the-hill, former sex kitten who doesn't realize her star has faded and really should look in the mirror before she leaves the house but is doubtless to addled on drugs to notice.
It seems clear that she has some sort of mental illness and is desperately trying to relive her glory days - it's sad, really, and I feel very sorry for her. That's her excuse but what is yours, Britney fans?
