Sam's Spokesman: "Kevin Needs To Step Up!"

Mere days after he left his job with Kevin Federline's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan and took a new job with Britney Spears' controversial friend Sam Lutfi, infamous image consultant Michael Sands has gone on the attack!
X17 just spoke with Sands, and he had some harsh words for Federline, saying that the aspiring rapper "needs to step up!"
Sands concedes a few points to Federline, calling Kevin "the better parent" outright.
However, Sands was quick to allege K-Fed of failing to be there for Britney when it counted, saying that Federline "needs to grant Britney visitation and stop hiding under the table - [he] really needs to do what's in the best interest of his kids"!
Sands also took his former employer to task for similar reasons, bluntly declaring that "needs to step up to the plate and lay off Britney Spears."
"He's gotta let up on someone who's sick," Sands told X17. "You wanna keep beating [a sick person] up? Don't live in the problem - live in the solution!"
Overall, Sands painted a picture of Britney as a victim of illness, calling her "the Frances Farmer of the 21st century".
"She's not some Frankenstein - she has an illness," he told X17. "Britney does need to be monitored...The disorder is ruining her. It's a neurological problem."
But Britney's children, Sands opined, may be the key to her recovery.
"Britney should be allowed visitation under the supervision of a psychiatric nurse and security," he said. "She's not a bad mother - it's the disease."
We can't wait to hear Mark's response to this - even he can't possibly let this one go quietly!

If she would have done what the Courts asked her to do in the first place, she might have had visitation with her kids before now but she chose not to so now she is paying the consequences. She needs to get back on track first, the kids don't need to see her the way she is now especially when she is talking in that stupid british accent! She will scare the poor kids.
I do agree that visitation should be established. Obviously she shouldn't have the children without supervision... but she should be allowed to see her babies. She is sick, and her kids are too young to know better, to them... they haven't seen mommy in a long time. I think it would totally help her out to see the babies.

The last time Britney had supervised visitation with her kids, she locked herself and the baby in the bathroom for hours, refusing to return him to his father, and had a stand-off with the cops that resulted in her being carted off on a gurney, and cost the city thousands.

I doubt that at this point, it's not even up to Kevin to allow visitation. If you'll all remember, Family Services stepped in as well as they had concerns about Britney's parenting skills, or lack of them. Conservators to Dump Brit's Manager!

Britney SpearsTMZ has confirmed that one of the things that went down in yesterday's hearing involving Britney's conversatorship is that the commissioner granted the conservators the power to fire her manager, Howard Grossman.
Commissioner Reva Goetz ordered Howard Grossman to turn over "all documents, records and assets relating to Britney Spears" to Brit's dad, Jamie, who along with attorney Andrew Wallet, is the court-appointed conservator of Brit and her estate.
Though the firing hasn't gone down yet, we're guessing the reason Brit's fam wants him out is because Grossman has a very cozy relationship with Sam Lutfi -- something that makes Brit's family very uncomfortable.

Britney SpearsTMZ has learned that Britney Spears' divorce lawyers, Trope and Trope, have filed papers requesting to be removed as her counsel. A hearing on the matter is scheduled for March 10.

"Britney needed some help with her extensions and wanted to talk about a new color," says Kim Vo, celebrity colorist and owner of Kim Vo, Beverly Hills and Kim Vo, in the Mirage in Las Vegas. "I hadn't worked with her before, but they asked me so nicely to help."
Vo arrived at her Beverly Hills home on Thursday afternoon – the day after her early release from UCLA's psych ward – and worked with the troubled pop star for four hours in a spare bathroom.
"She was more patient than I would have been," says Vo, who is an E! commentator and has appeared on Extreme Makeover. "She was sweet and has that Southern hospitality... She offered me iced tea and asked if I was comfortable."
Finding her scalp and hair in great shape – and "her skin is glowing, like a young girls," says Vo – he streaked her dark brown locks with a caramel color. "We wanted to brighten it up a bit. She's ready for something new," he says.
While Vo and Spears worked in the upstairs, her mom was downstairs cooking chicken for dinner.
"That smells so good, mama," Spears called down the stairs.
Vo felt none of the drama that has surrounded Spears and her family.
"It's a peaceful home," says the hairdresser. "It was not a rock-and-roll kind of place. Very classic and peaceful. She gave me a hug when I finished and both she and her mom told me how much they liked her new look."

When you have a mental illness, the chemicals in your brain are out of balance, your behavior does not necessarily conform to "what you should do." Try it sometimes, you numbskulls. I have always felt that the draconian now you can see them and now you can't actions of the court were to some extent responsible for her decline. I doubt there is any doubt that Federline and his lawyer played on this for their own percieved benefit.
How is it reasonable to think that with proper supervision by security and medical personnel the children would be in danger. Is there any real doubt that such visits would help her doctors help her.

Kaplan can't just say,'oh let's let britney see her kids' and it happens. The courts said no, for a very good reason. Face it, you precious britney sucks as parent and as a person.

Britney still feels she doesn't need help as she left UCLA against medical advice. CA law does not protect those people who should be retained longer for treatment like NY and some other states. They simply can only hold them for 72 hours max. Legislation needs to step up, not Kevin. He and the family are limited as to what they can get Britney to do. If she truly wants her kids, she would stick with in patient treatment, get away from Adnan, Sam, and other negative people, and focus on evaluation and treatment of her issues whether mental or otherwise. She is the one who needs to step up. Sands needs to stop deflecting and putting this one everyone else but Sam. He is not an MD who can provide her proper medical care by crushing up her pills. I do hope for the sake of the children they do get their mother back in their life but right now Britney is a shell of the woman she once was.
