Chairlady, I'm looking at her neck in the above shot, and it's possible they have done some re-touching. I'm no expert at visual F/X, but they might've gone in and rotoscoped each frame (there are 24 frames in one second of film footage!) to give her neck a thinner appearance...
It's done quite a bit these days...everything is digital and it's pretty easy to do it with a simple computer program...

The post-production team usually has to do touch ups anyways...sometimes comping out a boom that made it's way into the shot, or a foot from a crew member that made it's way into the frame (not that it happens alot on these kinds of professional productions...) But these days, doing touch-ups isn't a big thing, especially if the show is shot in HD...
There are definetly edited shots of her face and neck.

I think part of the problem is that the media people are insulting the public with their air brushed photos and obviously (and badly) reworked footage from her short part in the show. We aren't stupid and have seen her recently, so why go to these extreme lengths to insult the paying public with these lame reworks? Makes no sense and will backfire.
The public appreciates real people not obviously reworked film and photos of someone they see daily in the news in her real state. I won't watch the show and no one I know is going to watch the show. We aren't interested in fake media unless we want to watch a CG movie like "Shrek". From public opinion in my area of the country, she can't and never could sing, she can't act and needs to really be grateful for the money she's made and get on with being a mother to her babies now. Go back home and provide a stable home for them. You took the time to have them, now do the right thing by them for a change.

Let's talk about fans for a bit. Everyone in the public eye has fans. Charles Manson still gets tons of 'fan mail' in prison. Yeah, we are all humans with foibles, but when it goes overboard is when people believe that their idol is incapable of making serious mistakes and errors in judgment and that is when it crosses the line. Her fans ( of which I am definitely not) and so do the haters, make outrageous claims about her, but there are some who simply will not go with either extreme party's, but do take strong exception with public people's actions. She has decided to force herself into the public eye and then has proceeded to make errors beyond the comprehension of most people and that is the price of being in the public eye. To say that she is the victim of some conspiracy that has been perpetrated by every other person in her life is just ridiculous. This kind of inability to see the truth upsets, sometimes very strongly, those of us who see a person who has made incredibly stupid mistakes and seems incapable of owning up to them. She may be making some improvements, but the jury remains out until she makes improvements under her own steam. She is not even close to being able to do this yet. So when someone who is determined to appear constantly in the public eye messes up, there will be criticism about that person and no amount of false rhetoric will ever change this. If anything, obviously false rhetoric will only inflame the situation even more so! Saying she is absolutely perfect, or the diametric equivalent of a mass murderer are extremes that will, and have been, hammered on. For me, anyone who wishes this sort of exposure is placing themselves at the mercy of the public's altar of opinion. It is the nature of the beast and nothing will change this.
As long as she is a public figure, expect that there will be a mixture of praise or dissension depending upon her actions. Yet there she is and she seems intent on staying there in the public's eye any way she can. Pity her, I don't think so.
