Certainly good people lose custody of their children for a variety of reasons. In some instances, the husband has more power over the court and the woman and gains custody.

In some cases, the woman becomes ill, phnysically or mentally, and loses custody.

Sometimes the man loses custody for some of the same reasons. I think everybody's read about cases where legitimately good people have lost a case at law, either custody or some other case.

It would be simple for simple-minded folks if the world were simple, black and white, wrong and right, with nothing to boggle your minds, to make you consider other options and scenarios. I think that would be the world of children. Adults have to deal with all the gray areas and all the confusion and the unknown. These blogs might be good exercise for those of you who never were enrolled in critical thinking classes in college or high school.

Most people, in fact everybody, are a mixture of good and evil, and evil might be pushing it too far. Just good and not very good might be more descriptive of a lot of people. That's okay.

However, just because charges aren't brought, doesn't mean there aren't records of something happening. (Not saying that Britney DID do something to either child because I have no way of knowing).

All any of us can really know is what was made public in the court documents. The rest is just conjecture at this point. There is a lot we can speculate about though, given certain circumstances.

It really doesn't MATTER if someone wants to testify or not. The law is the law. If someone gets a subpoena, they are required by LAW to show up at the court and testify as to what they know. They can be compelled to testify as a "hostile witness", but that HAVE to testify or be held in contempt of court.

Brit to Sam -- Have a Bitchin' Spring

TMZ has learned Sam Lutfi has agreed to back off the Brit for another 30 days.

We've learned Lutfi and the conservators have avoided the court showdown tomorrow by agreeing to extend the restraining order against Lutfi for 30 days. Under the existing order, which expires tomorrow, Lutfi must stay 2 1/2 football fields away from the Britster and basically have no contact with her at all. The parties have agreed to extend that order.

The Commish will sign off on the extension at the hearing tomorrow.

Sources tell TMZ there was a meeting between Lutfi and the conservators last week. Lutfi had been locked and loaded to fight any extension -- so it appears something that happened during that meeting changed his mind.

We're told Lutfi believes the restraining order extension is a good thing for both him and Brit.

It really doesn't MATTER if someone wants to testify or not. The law is the law. If someone gets a subpoena, they are required by LAW to show up at the court & testify as to what they know. They can be compelled to testify as a "hostile witness", but that HAVE to testify or be held in contempt of court... Simply "not wanting to tell" because they think her actions were the result of "drugs" doesn't cut it. I imagine these people aren't "expert witnesses" so their opinions wouldn't matter anyways. As for Sam, he did give an interview to US magazine before the RSO as finally served.

In that interview he again admitted to giving Britney drugs, but he tried to get sympathy. It was a bizarre interview for what he felt comfortable stating.

As for Sam and Alli, I think they are both in trouble. Alli did talk to the paps/press by the way but she talked about herself, about her plans for the evening and whether she'd had a good time out with Lohan.
