Seeming happy and being happy are two different things. She's in major PR rehab right now, too, so she was certainly told to keep herself together for the cameras before she walked out. From all indications, her problems didn't begin with the pregnancies...I know members of her family here in South Mississippi--bipolar disorder and OCD are, unfortunately, not all that uncommon in her family. Her problems won't be cured by a 30-day stint in rehab...I hope she sticks with it, for her kids.

I hope that once she comes through all this and succeeds in getting better that she will put her experiences to good use and promote awareness of depression, or whatever it is that's the problem. Once she's feeling better she will still have her money and millions of fans to support her, others who suffer often aren't so lucky to have that support network.

Because I don't know her personally I really have no idea, but it also looks like the girl with her is trying to encourage her (the whole everything is ok thing) by her expression and body language.

AA is a short term solution. People with an addiction have addictive personalities.
AA deals with the present addiction, it does not deal with the addictive personality. They loose one addiction and find another.
In my opinion their addiction just needs to find a new outlet, rather than deal with the current addiction they should be finding the person a new one ( a safe one) or safer than what they were doing.
Am I making guesses? Hell no, unfortunatly I come from a freaking family of addictive personalities and that was they only way I could find to stop them doing the dangerous addiction of choice at the time.
Anyway AA isn't all that, but it does show the person that there are other people out there probably worse off than them, and if they take on AA meetings as their addiction, yes it will work for them. If they dislike going, they will re-offend within a few months.
Treat the addictive personality not the addiction.
