To others: I never heard that this Britney issue has anything to do with her career. They are trying to keep her alive and able to mother the children she just gave birth to. Career will come or not, after health is achieved. No issue about her career has ever been discussed lately.

I shouldn't be so hard on you people. Most of you are probably very young and inexperienced with life, even if you are adult age. The lack of compassion and understanding you exhibit for people having a hard time and for mental illness tells me that you have not much personal experience with either.

Some people are naturally critical, having that type of personality and having been raised in critical homes. Some are naturally empathetic and gentler in nature. Life will teach you the lessons that some people here have already learned. Some of us deal with mentally ill family and friends every day. We know what we are seeing when we watch Britney, and we know the struggles. I realize how mental illness doesn't seem to make sense because it clashes with your sense of reality, but that's just the sad way it is. If they were grounded in reality and made good choices, they would not be ill.

The court didn't and wouldn't order visitation for Britney at this time. She is still extremely mentally ill, to the extent that she can't even be responsible for herself, let alone the children. She is getting visitation only because Kevin wanted it. It takes a long, long time to overcome extreme mental illness, not just a month or so. Britney will have to demonstrate that her medication is working and that she wants and does take it as prescribed. That is not happening. Her behavior now has nothing to do with her kids. She is trying to look normal so she can regain control of her money. She didn't care that she lost her kids, at least not enough to try to get well. She partied every time the judge restricted her visitations. She can't and doesn't want to take care of her kids. She will go right back to her old ways as soon as she gets control of her money again. We see her fighting her bodyguard's orders all the time.

I think you're right that mentally ill people will ALWAYS be mentally ill. However, the situation CAN be made better with therapy and (if the person chooses) medication.

I actually think it's great to see Britney dancing a couple of times a week...physically activity is great for the soul, as are simple things the rest of us take for granted...things like daily routines and a proper diet...and maybe some relaxational stuff like yoga or relexology would go a long way.
