I never saw Britney Spears as a "Superstar". What she makes, in my opinion, is not real music. All she had going for her was a market that wanted an innocent young face that could look sexy and cover a pop market. All she had going for her was the fact she could dance but that was done by someone else, her lyrics were written by someone else, her image was created by someone else... she was created by someone else. Hence, why she can't make it on her own.
She has had handlers and people making her who she was... anyone could have filled her shoes and in fact, she's long been replaced but refuses to accept it.

I agree with you 100%. However, some of the problems lie with the laws themselves. The reckless driving thing is a fine example. We have all seen the video of her driving like a maniac crossing the double yellows, passing vehicles on curves, running red lights, speeding, etc. The problem is that none of that has taken place in front of a peace officer in the state of California. And since none of the paps have turned in the video to say they had seen this occur, there is nothing that the cops can do.

The City Attorney is trying to get her placed on probation for 2 years for her driving without a valid CA DL. That still has not been resolved. I can't begin to tell you what the judge in her custody case has been thinking.

I won't even go into the whole theft thing...I am just hoping that on the 24th she will be placed on probation. Maybe then someone will start to hold her accountable.

Anyway, I have to say that although I have a hard time believing anything that Britney does, she does seem to be putting in a millisecond of an effort. I'll truly believe it when I see it, though.
She DOES seem more confident these past couple of days, and atleast she DID show for her deposition. That is something more than her usual of showing up and leaving after a few minutes.
I know, I know... It could very well be just another one of Britney's acts to gain more publicity, but atleast she's not showing her nasty monthly panties and holding her kids hostage.

JGlad under Californa family law she would still have to pay child support. Actually, even if you sign over your rights to kids (unless you have a signed agreement by the other parent and the court agrees with it) you still have to support your child.

The singer allegedly says she misses Ghalib and wants to be a teacher in the texts, which have been offered for sale via his agency FinalPixx.

According to reports, Ghalib has also agreed to reveal intimate details of the couple's relationship on a US TV show.

A source said: "He's getting paid a lot. And his interview will be stretched out over several days."

Spears attended a meeting over custody of her children yesterday after failing to make it to her last court hearing.

A source reveals exclusively to OK! that Britney left her house at The Summit tonight at 5:15 PT in her Mercedes and drove around the San Fernando Valley. She didn't get far thanks to L.A.'s gridlock traffic. When Brit realized she wasn't going anywhere, she pulled a U-turn and returned home, followed by at least 30 paparazzi.
Once home, the source says she didn't go inside, but rather turned around again and went speeding off into the Valley for more aimless driving, finally returning home after about 45 minutes.
