I realise not everyone is talking politics, that's why my post was directed only at the people who are, one of which was the person in this topic. And i would agree that there are people 'more worthy' of support, but like i said intelligent people are capable of thinking about many different things at a time.

I think you have some valid points, btu the fact is that Britney herself was subject to some very bad parenting. None of us can appreciate what it must have been like to be raised since childhood for one specific purpose, to entertain others.

I am not trying to suggest that Britney is totally blameless, but she has had a fucked up life from day one, i would not trade places for all the fame and money in the world.

It is very easy to judge her actions coming from the viewpoint of a regular person, she is not a regular person and never has the chance of being so. There have been many many successful cases of going into rehab. Robert Downey Jr. ... that poor man tormented himself, his body, loved one and fans, again and again. But, hey he came through and I adore him (not love like I know him personally or anything). Britney isn't the first, nor sadly the last to go through a mental breakdown or addiction problems (anyone that overeats has an addiction to food ... anything that makes you harm yourself or take away from your family is an addiction/problem or can be). I don't think people should be able to get photos or "inside" reports while she is at a private facility. That can be harmful to her and the other patrons. Only a stupid person would not seek help ....she can't give up. I agree with the person that said addictions/breakdowns don't care who you are, it can hit anyone. Hopefully if it does the person has a support group and love to get them to a better place. No one, famous or not ask for this scrutiny and invasion.
