X17 XCLUSIVE - BRITNEY'S LEGAL, Y'ALL! - NOW WITH VIDEO

Britney's on her way to getting her kids back by making sure all her bases are covered - first stop, the DMV! Queen B mugged for the camera today as she got her California driver's license just hours after handing off her kids to KFed's bodyguard as news came down that she had lost physical custody of her boys.
Brit was charged on September 21 with a hit-and-run and with driving without a license, so this is at least partial restitution.
We'll have more pix and video of the rest of Brit's day today, coming up later ...

In my opinion, if she really cared about her kids, she would have done all of this BEFORE she lost all physical custody. I agree with someone before that asked why she did this AFTER she lost them. It doesn't make sense NOR does it look good.

Usmagazine.com reported Spears dropped off 2-year-old Sean Preston and 1-year-old Jayden James with Federline's bodyguard shortly after noon Monday. She then headed to Epitome, a tanning salon in Bel Air, the magazine's Web site reported.

When I moved to Tx, I went to the DMV, got my picture taken and a new license came to my house in 2 weeks. Didn't even have to take a test. They gave me a temporary license until the new one arrived. Britney still doesn't have a drivers licence. HELLO!!! And she drove away after being told no. You have to produce an old licence to receive a new one, otherwise she MUST take a driving test and a written test. She did neither, as of yet.
Also...this "loving mother" gave up her children two days before she was ordered to do so. Why? I think this is exactly what Miss Brit wants. If I had to give up 100% physical custody of my children every minute would be spent with them, not handing them over 48 hours early and then off to a tanning salon and a night at a hotel.
