Has Lynne's book come out yet? I asked because I have seen her here and there, promoting her book. It's strange that in all of the recent interviews, the word "bi-polar" has never been uttered by Lynne. She mentions that she felt that she lost all control over Britney at the time of the Rolling Stone shoot. In fact, she mentions this in two separate interviews that I've seen. Drug abuse is mentioned as an aside, with Lynne exclaiming "Well, she was a major CELEBRITY!" There is nothing about WHY family court won't let her be around her kids alone, in the interviews. I'm curious about what Britney did to them, and if it's not in Lynne's book, - then I won't buy it. Does anyone know?

Who's Ian Halperin and what's his book about? I've seen a couple of Lynn's interviews and agree that they gloss over the grizzly facts and make everything appear "nicey-nicey", which is a LIE because Shitney would not be so screwed up if everything had been as Lynn wants us to believe. I think Shitney had mental issues when she was young and all the alcohol and drugs made matters worse. If she is drinking like a fish again, I hope she remains under the conservatorship and is not allowed unsupervised access to her kid or a car.

Britney Spears’ label recently announced that Spears will release her sixth studio album, “Circus,” on Dec. 2. While some might consider the new work a marker of Spears’ improving health, some close to her fear that now that the worst seems to be over, she’s going to be treated as little more than a cash cow.

“Britney has been going to the studio ever since she got out of the hospital, but it was more a therapeutic exercise than anything," says a source close to the Spears family. “The people who really care about her knew that even though she wants to be the pop star she used to be, it won’t be good for her. Even her label, Jive, understood that. It’s a little unsettling to us that they’d want her to get back to recording so fast.”

There’s also the question of how the album can be put together so quickly. One source close to Jive says that the swift turnaround won’t be an issue.

“She’s not Paul Simon. As long as it’s produced well and has a good beat, she’ll have a hit,” says the source. “Really, the quicker we do it, the better it will be. You shouldn’t overthink some things.”
