Jamie Spears now has the "the power to restrict and limit visitors by any means."
A temporary conservatorship was created by Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz on February 1, 2008, to oversee Britney and her estate, while the troubled pop star recovers her mental health.

Britney's father Jamie Spears and attorney Andrew Wallet were appointed conservators of her estate and assets.

The conservatorship was made permanent by the court on Tuesday, October 28, 2008, with Britney's consent.

"I've met several times with Britney and she requested that I not object to the permanent conservatorship," said Samuel Ingham, who was appointed by the court to represent Britney's interests in the conservatorship.

While ruling in favor of a permanent conservatorship, Commissioner Reva Goetz said it was "necessary and appropriate for the complexity of financial and business entities and her being susceptible to undue influence."

BRITNEY SPEARS 'SKIPS TOUR REHEARSALS'

Britney Spears has been skipping rehearsals for her upcoming Circus world tour, it has been claimed.

The Toxic singer reportedly feels she is "not as good as she used to be" - so is refusing to practice her dance routines.

A source says, "She missed some early dance practices and wasn't dedicated about turning up to meetings."

Spears, 27, is said to be against dancing in front of her old choreographer Wade Robson.

The "Womanizer" singer, who is soon due to go on her first arena tour in five years, has sparked concern among tour organizers with her repeated no shows. She also cancelled her last tour (Onyx tour) five years ago.

A source told Us Weekly magazine: “She missed some early dance practices and wasn’t dedicated about turning up to industry meetings.”

Britney, 27, is said to be particularly reluctant to strut her stuff in front of choreographer Wade Robson – who she has worked with since 1999 - as she is embarrassed at how hard she now finds dancing. He was let go of recently and is no longer working with Spears.

The source added: “She didn’t want him to see that she’s not as good as she used to be.”

Jamie Spears was made a co-conservator of his daughter's legal, financial and personal dealings in February following a public breakdown in which the singer was entered into a hospital “twice” to undergo mental evaluations.

The elder Spears and lawyer Andrew Wallet stayed on as co-conservators throughout the remainder of the year, overseeing the Toxic superstar's every move, including plans for her forthcoming Circus tour.

In October, a Los Angeles judge made Jamie Spears' control of his daughter's estate, wealth, and personal life permanent, and in December he was provided with a payrise from $10,000 to $16,000 a month.

On Monday, January 5, 2009 court papers were filed in L.A. Superior Court to make the conservatorship legally official, stating that the star "is substantially unable to manage ? her financial resources or to resist fraud or undue influence." AND, is “unable to properly provide for her personal needs for physical health, food, clothing, or shelter.”

According to the documents they also state that Jamie Spears will have full power, even over who visits his daughter, saying that he has "the power to restrict and limit visitors by any means."

She has a new album, recently entertained audiences on Good Morning America and shared the stage with Madonna. But with the March 3 launch of her concert tour in New Orleans, Britney Spears is hoping to regain much more: to fully reclaim the adulation and fame she had exactly 10 years ago, when her controversial single "Baby One More Time" shot to the top of the charts on Jan. 30, 1999.

But it's no secret that, as she starts to climb back to the top, there are sacrifices she's had to make along the way — specifically, spending far less time with her two adorable sons, Sean Preston, 3, and Jayden James, 2.

The extraordinary price the singer is paying for her comeback is substantial. She has voluntarily giving up the fight to regain custody of her boys in exchange for fame.

PARIS — Luxury goods maker Louis Vuitton has won a lawsuit that alleged a Britney Spears music video violated counterfeiting laws by showcasing a pink Vuitton-upholstered dashboard.

A Paris civil court ordered Sony BMG and MTV Online to stop broadcasting or marketing the video for "Do Something" in any form and fined them 80,000 euros ($117,000) apiece, a spokeswoman for Paris-based Louis Vuitton said Monday. The ruling was handed down last week.

In the opening scenes of the video, Spears appears in the driver's seat of a hot pink Hummer floating on make-believe clouds. One shot shows fingers drumming on a dashboard covered with what looks like Vuitton's "Cherry Blossoms" design: dark pink blossoms on a pale pink, weblike background, embossed with the "LV" logo.

The court did not find Spears herself guilty but ruled that Sony BMG and MTV Online were guilty of violating counterfeiting laws. The ruling said the video constituted an "attack" on Louis Vuitton's brands and its luxury image, the spokeswoman said.

It was not immediately clear how the ban would be enforced, or whether the companies would appeal.

MTV declined to comment on the ruling. Sony BMG did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

The video was still on YouTube and other music Web sites visible in France on Monday. On a few sites, however, links to the video led to a blank screen, or one reading, "This video is no longer available."

Dancers and choreographers left because of Jamie's controlling ways. Britney's dances aren't as good as they use to because jamie isnt giving her enough time, input and freedom.
She also isn't having fun and being happy which effects all aspects of her life including her career

If you care more about the girl than the product her handlers are trying to sell (and I think you do) try explaining to other fans why this is wrong. I think even she has figured out that she completely screwed herself 6 ways from Sunday. She trapped herself in the tour and she can't move out of state and expect to have an easy relationship with the kids. She could commute back and forth, but that is not a great solution of any type. And even if she did move somewhere, she still has the same people controlling her every move. She is effective nothing more than a prisoner of what she created for herself. Her best bet is to quiet retire and resist the addiction to being in any sort of lime light. It's possible, but not probably though in this aspect.

Randhawa is hoping that the affair is just a publicity stunt, but she's still warning the 'Toxic' hitmaker to back off. "Britney did come over to India and she and Sandip went away for a few days, but it was purely professional. They were busy rehearsing. I really do wish she'd just leave us alone now," she said.

"It was Britney and her management who keep hassling Sandip to get his pictures taken with her and her dad Jamie. And one of her team even borrowed Sandip's laptop and sent out emails from Sandip's address saying that he was on a romantic break with her. Since I've known Sandip I've not seen him even once have a roaming eye on another girl. He would never go for Britney anyway. She's just not his type," she added.

It's amazingly sad!

As for me, I've been working from home and enjoying life. If I'm working late I try to drop by to unwind and share a few laughs. :)
