X17 XCLUSIVE - Brooke Burke Is A "Serious Contender" For DWTS Hosting Gig

Brooke Burke's rep tells X17online exclusively that the TV personality/Dancing with the Stars winner just wrapped up her screen test to take Samantha Harris' vacated spot as co-host for the hit ABC show. Brooke tells X17online.com about it, exclusively!
- "The screen test went as well as one could go. So fun to be back on the dance floor, but this time with a lot less nerves. It was a joy to work with Tom as I knew it would be. My heart is totally in it. Maybe I should look into my mirror ball trophy for the future. We shall see."
Yay! We'd LOVE to see Brooke on the show! I mean she knows the ins-and-outs of the show after winning season 7 with Derek Hough.
The sexy former Wild On host and mother of four, arrived at 2:45 pm today and was with producers for "hours." She went through full hair and makeup for her audition. We're told she'll know if she's locked the hosting gig next week!
