X17 XCLUSIVE - Brooke Burke Is A "Serious Contender" For DWTS Hosting Gig

burkedwts.jpg Brooke Burke's rep tells X17online exclusively that the TV personality/Dancing with the Stars winner just wrapped up her screen test to take Samantha Harris' vacated spot as co-host for the hit ABC show. Brooke tells X17online.com about it, exclusively!

    "The screen test went as well as one could go. So fun to be back on the dance floor, but this time with a lot less nerves. It was a joy to work with Tom as I knew it would be. My heart is totally in it. Maybe I should look into my mirror ball trophy for the future. We shall see."

Yay! We'd LOVE to see Brooke on the show! I mean she knows the ins-and-outs of the show after winning season 7 with Derek Hough.

The sexy former Wild On host and mother of four, arrived at 2:45 pm today and was with producers for "hours." She went through full hair and makeup for her audition. We're told she'll know if she's locked the hosting gig next week!
