This has been a long time coming!

Monica Beresford-Redman was found dead in Cancun on April 8, 2010. Husband Bruce Beresford-Redman, a former Survivor producer, was the prime suspect. But since then, Beresford-Redman has been attempting to block extradition alleging that Mexican police didn't investigate properly.

Today, Bruce was arrested for the murder of his wife. US Marshals and FBI agents reportedly visited his Rancho Palos Verdes home earlier this afternoon and then took him into custody.

Bruce continues to deny the charges brought against him. He claims Monica left the luxury resort they were staying at to go shopping and that she never came back.

Investigators say Monica died of "asphyxia by suffocation."

The accused husband will appear in U.S. District Court in downtown Los Angeles tomorrow. Calls to Bruce's attorney's office have not yet been returned...

A Los Angeles judge has dismissed a restraining order filed against the father of the Survivor producer accused of murdering his wife while on vacation in Mexico.

Bruce Beresford-Redman's father David was initially served earlier this month after the manager at Monica Beresford-Redman's West Los Angeles restaurant claimed she was frightened by David, whom she claimed threatened her with a gun.

Today, Bruce's sister spoke to the press after the hearing was over, saying, "The judge ruled that there was no basis for for a restraining order," and that it was initially "based on a accusations that had absolutely no ground in fact."

As for David, he says, "Obviously I’m very relieved that this has been dismissed. I did not realize the seriousness of a restraining order, it would have branded me as a criminal and I’ve never been a criminal before."

When asked about Bruce's kids, David said, "They're just fine. Theyr’e very happy to be with their father and their wife and I."

We asked if the kids are aware of what's going on, and David responded, "They’re 3 and five, they’re rather young."

His son, Bruce Beresford-Redman, is awaiting extradition to Mexico, where he's currently under arrest for the murder of his wife on April 5th.

You'd think someone being accused of murder might have other things on his mind! But Survivor producer Bruce Beresford-Redman played the perfect dad on Saturday, taking his two children Camilla and Alec to the Los Angeles Zoo.

Most interestingly, the little boy wore a t-shirt in reference to his late mother Monica:

Bruce Beresford-Redman may look as if he hasn't got a care in the world as he spends time with his two young children outside his Palos Verdes home, but the truth is he's currently scrambling to get out of a possible extradition charge to Mexico and dealing with a recent restraining order slapped on his father after David Beresford-Redman allegedly brandished a gun inside his dead wife Monica's restaurant!

More drama than an episode of Survivor!

But will Bruce be voted off the island? Or will he get to stay in the US?

Just after three sheriffs served Bruce's father David Beresford-Redman with a restraining order, we again spotted Bruce himself playing with his son out behind his house. This guy doesn't have a worry in the world! How is it possible for him to go about his daily routine when there's a murder investigation going on around him?

The three sheriff's department cruisers at Bruce Beresford-Redman's house moments ago were there to serve Bruce's father David with a restraining order from Zabumba restaurant manager, Norma Paula De Ahlf.

The order stems from an incident this past weekend in which Norma claims David paid a visit to her late sister's Brazilian restaurant Zabumba in Venice Beach, reportedly making threats and appearing to possibly by carrying a gun in his pocket.

Meanwhile, David told X17 exclusively this morning that he has "never owned" or "possessed a handgun."

Three sheriff's cruisers just left at the home of Bruce Beresford-Redman, according to an X17 photographer on the scene.

The Survivor producer's mother and father also just arrived with two children, Camila and Alec, and Bruce's mother Juanita accidentally hit the garage door as she was parking her car frantically. Our photographer described her as "distraught" over the police presence at her son's home.

Our photographer says police entered Beresford-Redman's home approximately 30 ago with papers. The TV producer is the only suspect in the murder of his wife Monica last month in Mexico. Mexican authorities have issued a warrant for his arrest and there has been talk of extradition -- Bruce would have to go back to the scene of the crime and face a judge and, if found guilty, could face life in a Mexican prison.

Steve Whitmore, LA County Sheriff's Public Information Officer, he tells us "It's a federal issue."

In fact, we've learned the police were there, in fact, to serve papers -- more coming on that in a minute ...

After spending the day with their dad, Bruce Beresford-Redman, the kids are finally changing locations...

Monica's sister Jeane Burgos was spotted arriving at the Palos Verdes home earlier this afternoon to pick up the two young ones - and it looks like Jeane missed them quite a bit! Can't imagine how bad the tension is between Bruce and his late wife's sister.
