Bruno Mars Explains Why He Lied To Cops After Cocaine Bust

He's finally coming clean!
Bruno Mars covers the latest issue of GQ, and the "Grenade" singer dishes about everything from his cocaine arrest in Las Vegas to his songwriting process.
After being busted with 2.6 grams of the drug in September 2010, the crooner lied to authorities and told them it was his first time using drugs, which he now admits wasn't exactly the case.
"I don't know where that came from. I was really intoxicated. I was really drunk. So a lot of that is a big blur, and I try every day to forget and keep pushing," he confessed.
Now that the 27-year-old hit maker is on the right path, he's focusing his energy on more positive things like penning chart-topping songs.
"You know how hard it is to write a big song? That s**t is hard, man. It's so hard to do. Might be one of the hardest things to ever do," he added.
We think you are doing a pretty stellar job so far, Mr. Mars!
