Cam was filming My Sister's Keeper today on the Santa Monica Pier and struggled to keep her bald head warm!
The plot is totally heavy: The story is about a young girl Anna, who was conceived in-vitro as a kidney donor match for her elder sister. She ends up suing her parents for the right to make her own decisions about how her body is used when she learns of the planned kidney transplant.
Diaz will play Anna’s mother, a former defense attorney, who returns to the courtroom to defend herself and her husband when their 13-year-old daughter sues them.
So, wow!

My boyfriends brother and his wife want to take a kidney from their young son (he's around 9 or so) and give it to the father who needs a transplant and it blew me away when i heard about it. This kind of thing is just plain sick!

This is soooo boring, ugly, dumb, and unpleasant. Entertainment is just that---something that enthralls. The pictures and story seem less than that to me. We all have enough of the negative in our lives. We need to lighten the mood and have glamour, joy, beauty, and fun.

oh wow, i can't believe that are making that book into a movie. i hope they don't ruin it. it really is a wonderful book. a tear-jerker. 5:42, the little girl at one point in the story looses her hair, so her mom shaves her head in support (diaz plays the mom).
