Taylor Swift And Carrie Underwood Lead CMT Nominations

Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift will go head to head at this year's CMT Awards, as the two ladies have earned five nominations apiece. They'll battle it out for Video of the Year along with Female Video of the Year, and it should be interesting to see if Swift will repeat the success she had in 2009, when she walked home with both of those major awards.
Underwood is also nominated for CMT Performance of the Year, and two of her videos ("Cowboy Cassanova" and "Temporary Home") are nominated for Director of the Year. Swift is nominated for Collaborative Video of the Year, and two of her videos ("You Belong With Me" and "Fifteen") are nominated for Director of the Year as well.
But will Taylor nail her live performance? We know Carrie can!

If Taylor Swiff wins she should give her award to Kanye West, because of what he did is that she got all the other awards, and became famous.
If Kanye West wouldn't interrupt on stage and said the Beyonce deserve the award, everybody would forget who Taylor is... americans just felt sorry for Taylor, and that's why she became relevant and famous.... Kanye West was the best thing to happen to Taylor's career. FACT!

Carrie Underwood's generic "cowboy cassanova", has no chance against Taylor Swift's "You Belong to Me", Female video will be Taylor's in a cake walk. LMAO you're kidding yourselves to think it does. Lady A. Will probably win video of the year all genre, if not, it'll be Taylor. Carrie Underwood is so 2005-2006. BTW, jealous Carrie fans, If Taylor needs to give her awards to Kanye then Carrie can give her's to Faith Hill, when Carrie was just starting to win she had an incident with Faith that was similar to the Kanye/Taylor incident. So she should also thank Faith Hill. Kanye is in no shape responsible for any success that Taylor has had. I know it may make you feel better to delude yourselves thinking that way. Taylor had two triple platinum albums under her belt before Kanye even did anything. He was simply JEALOUS of her success and couldn't stand it, much like you all here.
BTW, Taylor swept these awards last year in JUNE, BEFORE the Kanye incident in August. So how do you explain that sweep, if he's responsible for her winning? You need to just accept it, the girl has made it and will be around for years and years to come.
I dont get the Taylor Swift thing. Yes, she's pretty but she doesn't have a strong voice. Carrie has an awesome voice. Taylor sounds like a little girl. I guess that appeals to all the little kids and tweens though.
