Casey Affleck Settles Sexual Harassment Lawsuits
Posted on Wed Sep 15, 2010 09:59 AM PDT
Casey Affleck has settled the sexual harassment suits filed against him by two female producers who worked on the documentary "I'm Still Here", reports THR.
A rep for Affleck said in a statement, "The disputes between Flemmy Productions, LLC and Casey Affleck with Amanda White and Magdalena Gorka in connection with the film I'm Still Here have been resolved to the mutual satisfaction of the parties and the lawsuits are being dismissed."
White and Gorka sued Affleck in July for $2 million and $2.25 million, respectively, claiming the actor/director engaged in all sorts of inappropriate and abusive behavior and refused to pay them when they left the production. Wonder how much money they got?
And were these suits really about money or sexual harassment? Which side are you on?
