I have been reading about Casey’s mother, Sale Johnson. Apparently, she feared for the safety of her 2 year old adopted granddaughter Ava and had taken custody. In November, Casey was arrested for grand theft. In December, Casey began talking about wanting custody back. Her life was very troubled. It seems no one had contact with her for five days including New Year's Eve. The death of a 30 year old woman is always tragic. The only bright note is it appears her child did not witness her mother’s death.
