On Monday Catherine Zeta-Jones checked in to a treatment center for help in dealing with bipolar disorder, reports TMZ.

Zeta-Jones is scheduled to complete a 30-day program, and this is not the first time the 43-year-old actress has sought treatment for her condition. In April of 2011 she checked in to Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, Connecticut around the time her husband Michael Douglas was diagnosed with cancer for a "brief stay," according to her rep.

Shortly after that the Oscar winner opened up to People magazine about her struggles and said, "This is a disorder that affects millions of people and I am one of them. If my revelation of having bipolar II has encouraged one person to seek help, then it is worth it. There is no need to suffer silently and there is no shame in seeking help."

Zeta-Jones was last seen in public on April 22 with Douglas at the 40th Anniversary Chaplin Award Gala at the Lincoln Center in New York City.

Especially with the whole 'Hollywood royalty' name tag and the lifestyle I lead. And it’s a very nice lifestyle, thanks. You know, I’ve worked very hard for it and I appreciate it but I’m just regular old Cath. I’m certainly not a snob and I don’t take anything for granted. I just thank my blessings and pray to my god every day."

This is one of the few Hollywood couples that has stood the test of time!

It's been a rough couple years for the Douglas brood. The Last Vegas actor battled throat cancer in 2010, and the Traffic beauty sought treatment for bipolar disorder in 2011.

The New York-based couple has been spending more time on the west coast lately! The A-list pair hit up a Fourth of July BBQ in Malibu, and have been spotted working out and frolicking on the beach.

It's nice to see that some Hollywood spouses are in it for the long haul!

But thankfully the Rock of Ages star says they're in a "much better place now."

Zeta-Jones recently told Britain's Stylist magazine: "It does make you stronger because you have some ammunition to be prepared for something else that's going to side swipe you, because it really did side swipe us."

Catherine added, "It's now onwards and upwards. We're onto the next chapter of our lives. As long as we have health and happiness, nothing else matters."
