Chace Crawford Drops Out Of Footloose Remake
Is it possible Chace Crawford smelled a box office disaster looming on the horizon?
The Gossip Girl star's rep has confirmed that he will not be playing the lead in the Footloose remake. Sources tell Entertainment Weekly that Paramount is now "likely to cast an unknown," and it seems as though Chace's GG summer shooting schedule was to blame for him dropping out.
Previously, High School Musical actor Zac Efron was slated to play the lead role in the 80s remake.
Sounds like one to miss!
