Channing Tatum And Alex Pettyfer To Play Male Strippers In Soderbergh's Magic Mike

We already like this movie!
It has just been announced Steven Soderbergh has chosen I Am Number 4 star Alex Pettyfer to costar alongside Channing Tatum ... and both will play male strippers in the upcoming Magic Mike.
Great casting!
Apparently the story centers on Tatum's own experiences as a male stripper when he was just 19-years-old. The film tells the story of a friendship set in the world of male strippers. Tatum plays Mike, and Pettyfer is the newbie who learns the ropes from his more experienced coworker.
Soderbergh called the film "sexy, funny and shocking".

Alex Pettyfer can next be seen in the upcoming film In Time, costarring Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried. Cahnning Tatum has a slew of new films out this year, and is currently filming the re-make of Johnny' Depp's TV classic 21 Jump Street .

going back to his roots, I guess they figure he cant act so why not have him dance around in a speedo on stage in his younger day! They he will be in his prime.. He really does suck at acting. Good looking guy but talentless in the world of acting.
