Charlie Sheen Sentenced To 30 Days At Posh Promises Rehab Center In Malibu
Posted on Mon Aug 2, 2010 04:10 PM PDT

Charlie Sheen was sentenced to 30 days in rehab at Promises in Malibu today in Aspen after pleading no contest to misdemeanor assault stemming from the Christmas day scuffle he got into with his estranged wife Brooke Mueller.
But Charlie checked himself into rehab earlier this year, just months after the fight that landed him in trouble with the Aspen PD, and the judge has given him credit for "time served" which means he'll spend barely any additional time at Promises.
Charlie was arrested on Christmas day after a fight with Mueller at their vacation home in Aspen turned ugly. She called 911 in the early morning of December 25th, claiming Charlie had threatened her with a knife. Charlie has pleaded "no contest" to the misdemeanor charge.
Charlie had initially agreed to a work release program as part of his plea deal, where was to "coach" actors in a local theater called Theatre Aspen. But after that deal fell through, his lawyers were able to negotiate the Promises deal, which means he'll miss no time at all on his hit TV show, Two and a Half Men.
Hmm, sounds like this judge is no Marsha Revel!

ah, celebrity justice.
they really ARE just like us, right?
Who cares if 2 celebs knock each other around a little after getting sauced over the holidays.
Both were at fault, no doubt. Both got help.
Lol Charlie Sheen lives the life he portrays on his hit show. Guys like him should not marry, they want to play too much. So why tie themselves down.
TWO AND A HALD MEN is one of the funniest shows on tv.
Glad to hear that Charlie can continue with the show. And yeah, stay single buddy.
promises is a joke.........they drive the drugs up to the back door .....
a sober friend worked their and said it's a money grab and a sham for rich, famous and flakes
