Charlie Sheen Stands To Make Big Bucks With Twitter Advertising Deal
Posted on Thu Mar 3, 2011 02:15 PM PDT
Now that he's no longer making $1.2 million per episode on Two And A Half Men, Charlie Sheen will start Tweeting endorsements for cash, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Sheen could earn $1 million annually for gig (and anywhere from $200 to $25,000 per tweet!), and he approached Ad.ly to set up a deal. Ad.ly CEO Arnie Gullov-Singh said, “[Sheen] had the No. 1-rated show for seven years. You’d expect brands would be lining up to be involved with him in social media."
Some of the companies who advertise with Ad.ly include Sony, Microsoft, Lionsgate, Microsoft and Old Navy, but it's not clear who might be willing to work with Sheen given his recent media meltdown.
Think it'd be bad for business?
