After Charlie Sheen taped numerous interviews over the weekend, the Two and A Half Men star's longtime publicist Stan Rosenfield has officially resigned.
Rosenfield released the following statement:
- "I worked with Charlie Sheen for a long time and I care about him very much, however, at this time, I'm unable to work effectively as his publicist and have respectfully resigned."
Before dropping Sheen as a client, Rosenfield cleared up an email hoax that supposedly came from his office. He tells the Hollywood Reporter, "Somebody I've never heard of sent out an email under my company's name that Charlie Sheen has retired. THAT IS A HOAX."
