Charlize Theron is a proud mama!

The Prometheus actress stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show to chat about adopting her adorable son Jackson.

The South African beauty tells Ellen:

“The process, it took around two years. My mom said the most beautiful thing. I’m going to cry. She said…it took me nine months to fall in love with you were growing in my stomach. She’s like it took you two years to fall in love with this little baby."

The gorgeous actress is promoting her upcoming flick Snow White and the Huntsman which hits theaters on June 1. As for her new little bundle, Charlize adds, "It just feels exactly how it’s supposed to feel. I don’t know how to describe it. It just feels right.”

When Oscar winner Charlize Theron adopted baby son Jackson in March, she was actually honoring a promise she made to herself, 28 years ago.

The Snow White and the Huntsman star recently revealed in the June issue of Australia's Madison:

"My mother found [a letter I wrote]. It said, 'Would you please take me to orphanage, so that I can go and adopt a baby? I always knew I would adopt. Always."

The South African beauty has remained solo since ending her nine-year relationship with Stuart Townsend in 2010, and after the split, she wasn't sure she could raise a child on her own.

"You know, I don't think any mother aims to be a single mom," Theron confessed. "I didn't wish for that, but it happened."

But the blonde stunner admits the idea of marriage "has never been that important to me. I don't know why exactly. Some might say it's because my parents didn't have a good marriage, but I don't think so. I treat my relationships like marriages. The ceremony isn't that important to me."

Theron also confessed in the June issue of InStyle mag, “Motherhood was something I always knew I wanted to experience. Adoption has been a great opportunity for someone like me who wants to have a family. ... I can only hope to be 10 percent of the mom mine was to me."

Charlize now wears a personalized "J" necklace, so her son is always close to her heart!

Charlize Theron and Kristen Stewart attended the Snow White and the Huntsman photocall in Madrid today, and the ladies looked lovely when they posed for pics together. Charlize rocked a radiant red Giambattista Valli dress while Kristen went with a dark BCBG number and Christian Louboutin shoes.

Kristen recently chatted with MTV about seeing the final version of the film, and she gushed, “I was so excited. It was so, so beautiful when it was light and so exuberantly happy, and then when it was dark it was wretched and disgusting.”

Charlize plays the Evil Queen, and of course, K. Stew plays Snow White in Rupert Sanders' adaptation of the classic fairytale, which hits the big screen in less than 2 weeks. The 36-year-old has been making the rounds promoting her latest film, Snow White and the Huntsman, so we assume she's off to handle some more of her PR duties for the film. Lucky for Charlize she's got such a handsome travel companion!

The South African stunner kept in simple in jeans and a t-shirt, and it's refreshing to see a celeb that doesn't dress to the nines for a basketball game. Are you listening Kim Kardashian?!

Her date for the night? A female friend who quite possibly could be the Oscar-winning actress' mom. According to online reports, the Sweet November star is dating her onetime co-star Keanu Reeves! Hmm...

We wonder if the Speed actor is at home babysitting his rumored girlfriend's son?

The South African stunner revealed she has always wanted to have her own brood, saying, "I've always been very honest in saying I wanted a family. I've always known I've wanted a family."

Speaking about her newly adopted son, the 36-year-old Dior spokesmodel gushes, "Jackson is incredible, the greatest gift. He is the coolest kid ever." Sounds like this little boy is a charmer!

The Oscar winner makes looking beautiful seem effortless, but she insists that she works hard for her physique. "I'm sure there are women who never have to worry about what they eat. But I do. I exercise a lot, and I hike a lot. My mom and I hike at least three times a week."

We have a feeling she isn't going to be a single mom for very long!

Proud new mom Charlize Theron is more than happy to take baby son Jackson on daily outings, but she's still making sure to keep his little face undercover!

The Oscar winner treated her new little man to meet to brunch at the posh restaurant Bouchon, in Beverly Hills on Sunday afternoon, before heading to Equinox gym for a nice long workout.

We recently spotted Theron applying for a passport for Jackson, so that she can take him with her when she begins promoting Snow White and the Huntsman all over the world within the next few weeks.

Traveling with a baby may not sound like much fun, but at least they get to fly private!

New mom Charlize Theron stopped by an LA-area post office on Friday to pick up her newborn son's passport, so he can join her on work travels!

The Oscar winner went incognito in spandex pants, an oversized top, a baseball cap and shades, but she still managed to get the attention of post office security, who was more than happy to escort her to her car.

In other news, the Monster star has recently been nominated by CinemaCon to receive a Distinguished Decade of Achievement in Film Award next month.
