Chloe Sevigny On Playing A Transsexaul Hitman: "Who Doesn't Love A Challenge?"

Chloe Sevigny covers the August issue of Out Magazine, and she chats about her role on the new DIRECTV drama, Hit & Miss, in which she plays a transsexual assassin.

“Who doesn’t love a challenge?" The 37-year-old actress exclaimed. "My manager called me and said, ‘I got some scripts today, and they’re f*cking crazy. I’ve never read anything like them, and I kinda think you’re going to be into it,’ A little way into reading the first script, I knew I was in.”

On doing the role justice, Chloe says, “I was worried people would be angry that they didn’t cast a real person who was transitioning, I asked why they didn’t, and the producers said they didn’t find the right person. It’s a big responsibility toward that community, and I wanted to do them right.”

When asked about her image in the entertainment business, Chloe replied, “Hollywood does not know what to do with me. They do not like me. That’s why I end up in these seemingly difficult movies. That’s what is offered to me, and I need to make a living.” We're not quite sure if we agree with that -- she was brillz on Big Love and she's quite a talented actress!
