Chris Brown Says He's A 'Grown-A** Man', Done Apologizing For Rihanna 'Mishap'

Chris Brown is over discussing his February 2009 assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna, and he wants the word to know he's moving on from the drama that's surrounded him since the beginning of '09.
Brown opened up to Page Six about moving on from the incident, revealing:
- "People are always gonna talk. But I'm in a positive place. I consider myself a grown-a** man. At the end of the day if I walk around apologizing to everybody, I'm gonna look like a damn fool."
Brown has named his newest album F.A.M.E., which stands for "Forgiving All My Enemies", and he reveals to the post only "a handful of people" stuck by him after the incident, including fellow musicians Pitbull and producer Pharrell Williams.
The 21-year-old singer reveals:
- "You can't blame people for how they want to be portrayed or if they don't want to be associated with somebody who had a particular mishap. The last two years, everybody dissed me, but my fans were so dedicated. The way I look at it is, you can't walk around mad, because then you just prove everybody right that you're an angry person."
Recently a judge downgraded Brown's restraining order barring contact between he and ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
Chris Brown is currently serving five years probation for the crime against Rihanna, and he has also completed a court-mandated domestic violence class plus 180 hours of hard labor, which was finished last year.
