Superhero celebs put away their capes and shields to don suits and ties for the Captain America premiere at, appropriately, the El Capitan Theater in Los Angeles Tuesday.
Chris Evans (Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man) all came out in support of the film. The question is ... which hero looked sexiest?
Our vote is for Hemsworth ... what's with the Elton John glasses, Chris Evans?! This was your big night!
The trio will star, along with Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Piven, Mark Ruffalo and Samuel L. Jackson (who also hit the premiere) in the upcoming Avengers movie.
Also at the premiere was Vanessa Hudgens with her newly shorn hair -- see it in our video and gallery below!

Chris Hemsworth is hanging tough for Interview magazine's May issue.
The 27-year-old Thor stud is opening up about his love for the superhero's heavy hammer. He tells the mag:
“It is a pretty impressive piece of equipment. It was quite heavy, so that helped with the stunts. If it was too light, you would swing it around like a toothpick and it wouldn’t look impressive. When there is some weight to it and you have to physically use your shoulder and back, it gives you a sense of power. I got very comfortable holding it. When I did the earthbound scenes without it, I felt naked.â€

David Slijper/GQ Australia
Chris Hemsworth graces the cover of GQ Australia, and the hunky Thor star chats about his new film and getting to work with some of Hollywood's hottest actors.
“Going from kissing Natalie Portman to working with Anthony Hopkins — the whole experience was like, ‘What the f*** am I doing here?’ But in a good way. It literally seemed like last week I was still working on Home and Away,†he tells the mag. "There was as much character work on this as there would be on a little independent film. So, [I felt] very fortunate in that sense."
“You get the part, sign the contract and start to realize millions of people follow this guy and know more about your character than you do,†Chris continued. “It’s existed for 50 years or something and all of a sudden it’s like, ‘Oh f***, there’s a lot of people waiting here to say that’s right, or that’s wrong.’ So it’s a funny thing to walk into. Not often do you approach a character where people know more about him than you do.â€
