Christina Aguilera has said many times that she was both physically and emotionally abused by her father, but now she's ready to bury the hatchet with her estranged father.

When asked about her dad, Fausto, Xtina tells Latina magazine:

I've talked about how rough things were for me and I'm sure he's heard it. He can't be thrilled about it. So maybe one day we can do lunch ... I'm 31 years old now. Maybe it's time."

The 31-year-old songstress, who says she last saw her dad in 1999, adds:

"Growing up I did not feel safe. Feeling powerless is the worst feeling in the world. I turned to singing as an outlet. The pain at home is where my love for music came from."

Aguilera's dad has denied the allegations of abuse.

Ahhh, another day, another Italian restaurant for The Voice star Christina Aguilera and boyfriend Matthew Rutler.

We spotted the two at Brentwood hot spot Toscana Saturday -- a favorite of the singer.

Honey, we know you're "happy in your own skin," but seriously, a little restraint, perhaps? And maybe a little less time with the gnocchi, pizza and pasta and a little more time at the gym?

Christina Aguilera, a long-time fan of the late Etta James, took to the stage at the singer's funeral Saturday to pay tribute with her rendition of James' most famous song, "At Last."

Stevie Wonder also sang at the memorial, while the Reverend Al Sharpton officiated. Sharpton read a message from President Obama: "Etta will be remembered for her legendary voice and for her many contributions to our nation's musical heritage."

James died on Jan 20 at the age of 73.

Christina Aguilera, son Max and boyfriend Matthew Rutler made a trip to San Diego on Thursday, and the trio spent five hours at the Legoland park for Max's fourth birthday.

"Spent the day at Legoland with the love of my life," Xtina tweeted. "Happy bday Max!" After driving bumper cars and exploring the amusement park, Max was presented with a Lego-themed vanilla cake, and the trio also celebrated at the Hard Rock hotel.

The Grammy winner tweeted this pic of one of their adventures, and it seems like the two had a blast:

Christina Aguilera graces the February cover of Marie Claire, and she dishes on her fav fashion picks, being a mom and her weight gain. Of course, she took some time to strike a few sexy poses, and even though she's flaunting a fuller figure, she still looks fabulous!

On her body, the 31-year-old singer states, “I’ve been through my highs, I’ve been through my lows; I’ve been through the gamut of all things in this business. Being too thin. Being bigger. I’ve been criticized for being on both sides of the scale. It’s noise I block out automatically. I love my body. My boyfriend loooves my body ... I have certain physical features that I favor over others. We all have our areas. When I worked on Burlesque, I lost so much weight that I was too skinny. I don't weigh myself — it's all about how I feel in my clothes. What looks good on one person might not look good on another body type. I happen to be very confident in my own skin. It takes time to get to that place, but it's all about embracing yourself and your body."

While Xtina has moved on with her life, no one can forget about the drama of 2010, which saw her going through a divorce, flubbing the lyrics to the national anthem at the Super Bowl and getting arrested for public intoxication. "That was a rough year," she admits, shaking her head. "Between my divorce and the other things I went through, a lot happened. It's hard for anyone to go through that in public. But when you're a celebrity and under a microscope, it's 58 million times harder. I grew an even thicker skin after that hard year."

Jessica Simpson and Nicole Richie weren't the only famous faces at the NBC TCAs the other day -- Christina Aguilera was were to promote The Voice, and it seems like she forgot to throw on a bra before she left the house!

The 31-year-old singer wore a Thomas Wylde dress for the event, and even though her co-stars Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green were there with her, that wasn't the kind of support she really needed. But hey, even though her tatas look like they belong on a senior citizen, she didn't seem to care at all! Xtina chatted excitedly about the second season of the show, and she also addressed comments concerning her figure.

“I’m very confident in my body,” she told reporters. “I think my video works over the years have spoken to that … I’ve been no stranger to being very comfortable in my own skin. As long as I’m happy in my own skin, that’s all I need, that’s all the confirmation I need. I’m happy where I am, I have a boyfriend love that loves my body, I love my body, my son is healthy and happy. That’s all that matters."

Christina Aguilera was spotted shopping with boyfriend Matthew Rutler at Jenny Bec's in Los Angeles over the weekend, and even though she went overboard with her tan (how embarrassing!), Xtina was in great spirits when we snapped her picture.

And this isn't the first time she's shopped at the high-end children's store -- last year we caught the pop diva and her son Max leaving the retailer with a toy truck, so we have a feeling he'll be thrilled when he rips open his Christmas presents this year!

Christina Aguilera performed “Moves Like Jagger” with Adam Levine last night at the American Music Awards, but it wasn't a botched lyric or bad makeup that everyone was talking about -- it was a skimpy bandage dress that showed off her fuller figure in a less-than-flattering way.

Christina's bulging belly was visible through the skintight metallic frock, and several media outlets began to speculate that the Grammy winner is pregnant. Her rep shot down the reports, and a source close to Xtina recently told In Touch that the singer can’t seem to control her weight and it's driving her crazy. “Christina hates her thunder thighs,” the source said. Well, it wouldn't be as big of a problem if she didn't pick clothes that drew attention to her problem areas!
