Christina Aguilera Postpones Summer Tour

Christina Aguilera has announced that she's postponing her summer tour and pushing the shows back to an unspecified time in 2011.
The tour was supposed to kick off on July 15 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, but due to a her involvement in Burlesque and her promotional duties for hew new album Bionic, Aguilera's rep said, "The singer felt she needed more time to rehearse the show and with less than a month between the album release and tour dates this wasn't possible."
Hmm, isn't going on tour part of promoting your album? Or is she embarrassed because the songs that leaked last week sound like some of Britney's old demos?

It's obvious that the tour was cancelled because of poor ticket sales. The only legitimate reason artists cancel are for illness/injury and huge personal problems. You don't go through all of the trouble of putting together a tour and at the last minute decide too much promotion for the movie and cd to do rehersals.
Teens that are 15 now were 5 when Genie came out and were 10 when BTB came out..Christina stay away to long.3 Cd in 11 years doesn't make you a legend.

Just because she postpone the tour doesnt mean its coz of poor tickets sales, for god sake they have only been out for 4 days how can you say that, if they were out for a month it be a different story. The thing I love about Christina is that she doesnt give a fu*k what anyone things and she continues doing what she wants to do, and she just ignores the negative people. This album can really flop hard but she aint going nowhere so all you haters will have to deal with it. If shes such a "flop" and "hasbeen" why do all you haters waste your time commenting on her, surely if shes past her sell by date shes not worth being talked about. Your obviously threatened by her because shes got the best voice out there and the album might do very well and will outshine all of those other "singers" out now what everyone loves now. i am a major britney fan. but i will admit christina's voice outshines. christina needs to get back to basics, and produce an album, which shows off her voice not her body. her voice is why her fans fell in love with her musics in the first place. its sad that she thinks she needs to sell her body to have a successful album

wow... i lov her new song..but i did notice that it only debuted #23 on the chatrs and it dropped a lot these past 3 weeks... now its at #57...keeping in mind that the single DOES have a video out...NOT TO COMPARE but lady gaga's alejandro DOESNT have a video and its a #6....
and btw all u britney no life haters...BRITNEY SPEARS DID A MOVIE AND RELEASED AN ALBUM AT THE SAME TIME BACK IN 2001-2002.... sure xtina has a baby BUT bitney did this right after 9/11 happened...she relesed her 3rd ground breaking album "britney" in november 01 plus released her world record grossing tour the same month..or week... that tour had sooo much going on, so much choreography, dancing, pyro, tech, special effects and she didnt only pulled it off..she nailed it ;)
