Last night Christina Applegate went to Arclight in Hollywood to catch a movie with a mystery man, and she was all smiles when she stepped out of the theater. Think it had anything to do with the movie, or was she planning on getting lucky later?

Christina was looking a little down when leaving the Neil George Salon yesterday.

What's she so upset about? She just got her hair did at one of Hollywood's hottest salons and she has a hit show that's returning to the air next week. Well, there was that little cancer issue, but she beat that, too!

We heart Christina to pieces, we certainly hope there's nothing seriously wrong!

Since the Golden Globes were over the weekend, we decided to go with our favorite candid picture from the event... and how could we choose anything but the awkward near-kiss between Christina Applegate and Rita Wilson?

So sexy, right? So sexy and so weird!

Everyone knows the celebs only sit through the long awards shows to make it to the after parties!

And last night was no exception, with most of the A-Listers heading to the Sunset Towers to celebrate their wins...or just being beautiful.

Tom and Katie were reunited at last, Brad Pitt continued his red carpet snub and tried to make sure no one snapped pix, winners Colin Farrell and Laura Linney showed off their trophies and Latina lovelies Eva Mendes and Penelope Cruz also came to the big party. Wonder if Tom and Pene crossed paths? Awkward!

And although Christina Applegate and Rita Wilson didn't win anything last night, we just want to thank them for this embrace:

It's good to see the Golden Globe-nominated actress happy and healthy after her scary bout with cancer earlier this year!

Ok, so the Emmys are no Oscars, but it's still a chance for the stars to get glammed up and strut their stuff on the red carpet!

She may still be recovering from her recent cancer scare - but yesterday afternoon, Christina was looking Apple-great!

We bumped into the plucky ex-Bundy leaving Neil George yesterday afternoon - guess she's gettin' ready for her big appearance on the Stand Up To Cancer special tonight! Unfortunately, Christina wasn't feeling up to responding, although she was happy to oblige the paps with some smiles. Thanks, Christina - we're just pleased to see you doing so well!

Christina Applegate certainly isn't taking any chances in her battle against breast cancer - earlier this morning, she revealed that she had both her breasts removed to keep the deadly disease from spreading!

Better Safe Than Sorry
In her first interview since announcing her diagnosis earlier this month, the Samantha Who? starlet told Good Morning America that doctors had performed a double mastectomy on her three weeks ago, and that she would spend the next eight months undergoing reconstructive surgery.

Applegate elected to have both breasts removed even though her cancer had been contained in one breast. "I just wanted to kind of be rid of it," she told GMA. "So this was the choice I made and it was a tough one."

Applegate claims to now be cancer-free.

A Healthy Attitude
Fortunately, Applegate isn't letting her loss dampen her spirits - in fact, she claims that the ordeal has taught her invaluable lessons about her own strength!

"I've laughed so much in the last three weeks," she told GMA. "I love living, and I really love my life, and I knew that from this moment on it was only going to be good that was going to be coming. Yeah, I'll face challenges, but you can't get any darker than where I've been. So knowing that in my soul gave me the strength to just say 'I have to get out there and make this a positive.'"

Ever the comedienne, Christina even tried to make light of her situation on GMA!

"I'm going to have cute boobs 'til I'm 90, so there's that," she joked in the interview. "I'll have the best boobs in the nursing home. I'll be the envy of all the ladies around the bridge table."

Emmy award nominated Samantha Who star Christina Applegate has just been diagnosed with breast cancer.

"Benefitting from early detection through a doctor ordered MRI, the cancer is not life threatening. Christina is following the recommended treatment of her doctors and will have a full recovery," her rep said in a statement to Us.

Applegate, whose mother is a breast cancer survivor, is currently enjoying a television comeback with her television hit, Samantha Who, about to enter its second season on ABC.

Since this was potentially the only opportunity for high fashion on the red carpet, Hollywood pulled out all the stops at the SAG Awards.

Well, all the stops but one. Anyone notice how virtually no one wore a necklace on the red carpet? Ever since Natalie Portman showed up bare to the 2006 Golden Globes, it seems Hollywood has abandoned decorating their décolletage.

From the dress to the hair, Christina got it all right. The only thing missing was, well, a necklace.

I like Amanda's dewy, understated makeup, but the hair's not so flattering and that dress does nothing to show off her amazing figure!
