Clint Eastwood Takes Jab At President Obama During Rambling Republican National Convention Speech
Posted on Fri Aug 31, 2012 08:55 AM PDT
Clint Eastwood hit the stage at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida in support of Mitt Romney.
While speaking, the 82-year-old actor addressed an "invisible" President Barack Obama. Eastwood said:
- "I've got Mr. Obama sitting here. I was going to ask him a couple of questions ... It may be time for someone else to come along and solve the problem. I think if you just step aside and Mr. Romney can kind of take over. You can maybe still use a plane."
The Dirty Harry actor then pretended to speak more with President Obama. Eastwood added, "What do you want me to tell Romney? I can't tell him to do that to himself . . . you're getting as bad as Biden."
President Obama responded by Tweeting the below photo along with the following caption: "This chair is taken."
