Conan O'Brien Breaks His Silence About Tonight Show Fallout

Conan O'Brien is finally speaking out about getting the boot as the host of The Tonight Show. The comedian took a break from The Legally Prohibited From Being Funny On Television Tour and sat down with CBS' 60 Minutes. Up until now, under his exit contract with NBC, the funnyman wasn't able to talk about the situation.
Coco doesn't hold back from explaining his disappointment in Jay Leno for handling The Tonight Show situation the way he did. O'Brien says, "I hope he's happy with his decision ... I would do it differently." According to Coco, he and Jay haven't spoken a word to each other since the late-night switch.
He goes on to say, "If I had surrendered The Tonight Show and handed it over to somebody publicly and wished them well ... I would not have come back six months later. But that's me...everyone has there own way of doing things."
Ouch! Something tells us that Coco doesn't support Team Jay.

Who cares! The dude got over 30 million for doing nothing. What's he crying 4?
Let's see, O'Brien gets NBC to force Leno off the Tonight Show. Tanks the ratings for the show. Cries when NBC bounces him and Leno wants the show back that he didn't want to give up in the first place.
This was ALL NBC's bad. The only reason Leno was still on the network was because NBC was terrified that Leno would go to another network and take his audience with him.
O'Brien needs to shut-up already.
He got 30 million from NBC. Now he has a new show on TBS making a nice paycheck.
Jay didn't wake up one morning and decide to leave The Tonight Show. O'Brien woke up one morning and decided he wanted Jay Leno's job. He went to NBC and demanded Jay's Show. Coco didn't ask Jay Leno if it was OK if he got him fired from his number one in the ratings show. Leno still had 2 years left on his contract with NBC. Jay was forced out by Coco. Now, he is whining about how Jay treated him. Coco needs stop complaining and wanting to people to feel sorry for him. It is a major turn off.

The only reason the NBC gave the show back to Jay Leno, was because Jay Leno was asking for triple the money to go away. Of course, the network took the cheap way out and gave Conan some money to go, because they couldn't pay Jay Leno the money he was asking to leave.
Jay Leno found loopholes in his contract and he used that to tell the network if you want me to leave for good, give me this ridiculous amount of money.
NBC didn't have a choice to let Conan go because it was cheaper to say bye to him. And, NBC tried to justify with the public saying well the show wasn't doing that good with Conan... please there are records of the ratings, and they were the same as when Jay was there, but nobody bothers to look at the story in detail... Team Conan all the way!!!
Amazing how this crybaby seems to forget Leno DIDN'T want to leave in the 1st place. He was forced out by YOU Conan and NBC because you wouldn't resign for the Late Show unless they guaranteed you the Tonight Show. What did you think you were doing to Leno when NBC agreed to that. What a f-ing jerk you've turned into.
