Could This Be The End Of Conan O'Brien?

Uh-oh, this looks familiar.
After a little over a month on TBS, Conan O'Brien's ratings the fifth week of his show were the lowest since the show's debut, especially in his key demographic. What happened to all the "I'm with Coco" fans? Was that just a phase?
At this point O'Brien has lost more than half the audience who made up his premiere week, and if ratings keep slipping, we may see a repeat of last February when NBC booted him for the very same thing? At least Leno won't be behind him to take his place! Maybe he should just stick to comedy tours and his Twitter account ...
Either way, O'Brien walked away from one cancelled show a multi-millionaire. We don't think two will hurt him money-wise, but we do feel bad for all the crew that has moved from NYC to L.A., and now possibly back to NYC, if the show were to get the axe after just one season.
Should TBS cancel Conan, or give the show a chance?

Letterman and Conan will die bitter that Leno is the superior comic. You see time slots and networks don't matter when you fail to deliver.
Creepy dave even gave himself a heart condition over losing for decades to Leno still the King of Late Night.
Any so called comic will fail if they are not funny, regardless of your last name, be it Leno, Letterman or O'Brien.
Leno's lead in was the only reason he was at NBC for so long, he should be grateful.
Conan is not funny.
O'Brian should just enjoy his millions and go away.
I knew it would not work out for him.
Kimmel is my fav spot. And a bit of Letterman. Leno's first 10 minutes usually arent too bad either.

Good luck. ★★★★★★ ;)
Said it forever that Conan was not funny and that fake support from his fans was bullsh!t. Now it is proven.
He hates his fans.
When they were calling him Coco, he would whine every night and tell them not to call him that.
He is a douche and that creepy Andy is killing his show.
Jay is nice and never bitter and consistently kicks Letterman and Conan's a$$.
He's not funny at all, neither is Lopez, a lot better comics around that would love to have those jobs.
Jay is a classy guy don't care for the way the media portrayed him throughout NBC and zucker's mess.
Colbert and stewart are the worst.
Wow, where are all the Conan fans? They were all over the place when he was fired from the Tonight Show. I really like Conan. Different sense of humor but very quirky and funny.
Conan should have went to Fox at 11:30. I forget to tune in at 11:00. It's 11:30 before I think about it. But I really like Conan. Funny guy.
Conan never should have left his original spot following Leno. He had a pretty good gig and a nice niche on a major network.
........let's pray for it: The End!!!!
He's ungly and not funny...... wish him the best. Keep it moving he should find good investments.
bye bye conan, dishonest pig
This is such a stupid story. X17 doesn't know what they are talking about and sound ridiculous claiming Conan is about to be cancelled. All talkshows have huge ratings when they premier then have big dropoffs. Also he's on TBS. I don't know what the ratings are but Conan is probably still one of the highest if not the highest rated show on the network.
Coco fails again, surely can't be Jay's fault again LOL Karma.
This guys about as entertaining and funny as a rock.
Later, so long, bye bye. Do the world a favor, retire.
It's a ridiculous article. Conan's doing great on cable. TBS is very happy.
I don't see how he can be in trouble when he has better ratings then Jon Stewart who everyone considers a success.
Any moron with typing skills can publish an idiotic article like this. If you don't like Conan, don't watch it and stick to bland Lamo while you wait for your laxative to work.
This story is such BS. Of course Conan’s numbers were at their highest the first night of his premiere, so many people fans and non fans tuning in to see what he would say about NBC etc. The public loves their drama. And if were going to compare: When Leno returned to the Tonight Show he had high ratings and look where he’s sitting now--not pulling in the nightly ratings he was before he “retired”. At any rate, cable ratings are not the same as network and I'm not sure why Conan is constantly being compared to Letterman/Leno's ratings--it’s not about beating Dave or Jay. Last I looked Conan’s #‘s were beating Colbert and Stewart and those guys (who I also great) are considered VERY successful on cable… Conan is doing just fine.
Conan doing great by basic cable don't compare network with cable becuseis not the same thing!! In conlusion leno is an old tired crappy and unfunny thing who just deserve to get a forced to retire Forever!!!
This article is a failure. Clearly you don't know how the ratings work. I'm just gonna ignore you with Minty's theme song.
KARMAAAAAA!!!! CONAN - BAD INVESTMENT!
All CoCo's online fans certainly deserted him after the 1st show. He went from 4.3 million down to 1.2 million viewers already. Another year and he'll be lucky to bring in half a million. He should of stayed on Late Night where he did better on NBC. Instead he got greedy and threatened to quit unless they promised him the Tonight Show. Then Leno gets blamed for his mess even thought Conan was the one forcing him out since NBC thought Conan would be bigger then Leno. Karma Conan, Karma.
My God, the idiocy of most of the comments here is amazing. Conan is only just beginning his sixth week and his ratings are fine. TBS is committed to him, and he to them--unlike NBC who never really appreciated him and proved it in the end.
And a sixth grader could have written a better article than this obvious swill.
Dude just has not been funny since 2007. That is the harsh truth. Went on the Tonight Show and refused from any advice from Leno. He has to get his own way always and this does not work.
team coco .........that is about the only thing funny about the red mophead!
all you "hip" conan lovers seem to be in the minority now!
I don't think Conan fans ever intended to be in the majority though. We always knew Conan is a unique sense of humor. The same reason any TV shows that have any potential for intellect or creativity to them usually fail on network tv, BUT they go to cable where they can appeal to a unique audience. TBS is paying Conan much less than Network TV, but the expectations are also much lower as well. If he's beating Stewart and Colbert, then he's doing great. Heck, even if he ties them, he's still a rockstar in terms of basic cable.
Lopez is appealing to a specialty audience as well, so that could be why I don't particularly enjoy his humor, but again, I simply don't turn on the TV until 11 pm so that I watch Conan and not him. Conan will still be on the air a year from now as long as he stays above 800,000 viewers per evening (Stewart's average).
Conan and Lopez are a waste of good electrons. Get rid of them.
