Conan O'Brien truly delivered tonight on the premiere of his TBS show Conan, and from our favorite bear to a snarky (but somewhat tame) opening monologue, we couldn't be more thrilled about his return to television.

When he started off the show, O'Brien joked, "Welcome to my second annual first show ... People ask me why I named the show Conan. I did it so I’d be harder to replace. This is an exciting night. I’m glad to be on cable. The truth is, I’ve dreamed of being a talk show host on basic cable ever since I was 46."

Conan continued, “A lot’s happened in the news since I went off the air — and I was hoping I could cover it all in one joke. But then I realized that’s like trying to keep an Icelandic volcano from wearing Lady Gaga’s meat dress while a trapped Chilean miner cleans up the BP oil spill…Brett Favre’s p*nis.” Immediately after this we got a peek at the infamous masturbating bear, and over the course of the rest of the show Conan chatted with guests Seth Rogen, Glee's Lea Michelle and he even jammed with musician Jack White. Take that, Jay Leno!

Can't wait to see what kind of numbers the red-headed comedian brought in tonight. Did you guys love it as much as we did?

Ouch! But Conan O'Brien is a funnyman, so we're assuming he was just joking around. Ish.

The 47-year-old talk show host, who debuts his new TBS shindig on Monday, gives a pretty frank interview with Playboy's December issue about, you guessed it, leaving NBC and rival Jay Leno:

"I have had too many good things happen in my career to end on any kind of bitter note. I'm just saying this to you; we're alone in this office, and I don’t have to say this: I am an incredibly fortunate person ... And as crazy as this sounds, my career with NBC was overwhelmingly positive until this ... The entertainment business has an amazing way of turning really lucky people into bitter, angry, rage-filled, jealous, resentful wretches who can’t believe they got screwed. Some things have worked out great for me, some things haven't. You keep going."

Someone's not holding back! And about Leno himself? "[Leno is] a guy you hear coming a long way off. There aren’t many three-cylinder engines in California that run on peat moss. And we hang out in different circles, so I don’t think we’ll be bumping into each other."

Conan adds that Jay Leno is welcome on his new show "as the musical guest." Why? "Because that I want to see," proclaims Conan. "No one knows he has an operatic range."

Conan O'Brien is pumped for the launch of his new late-night show on TBS, and the funnyman is not afraid to get wet and wild to show his excitement.

In this new promo spot, Coco, armed with a hose and sponge, spoofs Paris Hilton's infamous car-washing Carl's Jr. commercial ... giving the sexy concept his own spin. Who knew O'Brien was so flexible? That's hot!

Conan premieres November 8th on TBS.

After months of speculation, we've finally learned the name of Conan O'Brien's upcoming late-night show premiering this Fall on TBS. Wait for it .... it's Conan.

As Mr. O'Brien puts it, the name is "Simple. Pure. Like the man himself."

We couldn't have said it better ourselves. Conan premieres November 8.

Jay Leno's costly and embarrassing return to The Tonight Show was a gamble that hasn't paid off for NBC. Not only is he getting much lower ratings than he did before he briefly passed on the crown to Conan O'Brien, but he's getting lower ratings than Conan O'Brien did during his seven-month stint.

Although Jay routinely beats The Late Show With David Letterman, the new champion of late night is actually ABC's news magazine show Nightline.

Considering that Jay, who's got a two-year contract with Tonight, costs twice what Conan did, NBC may have the mind to terminate his run early (like they did with Conan) and go with a cheaper replacement.

But with Conan out, who would that leave? Jimmy Fallon?

Or would they try to pluck one of the other network's late night hosts, like Craig Ferguson or Chelsea Handler?

Conan O'Brien is finally speaking out about getting the boot as the host of The Tonight Show. The comedian took a break from The Legally Prohibited From Being Funny On Television Tour and sat down with CBS' 60 Minutes. Up until now, under his exit contract with NBC, the funnyman wasn't able to talk about the situation.

Coco doesn't hold back from explaining his disappointment in Jay Leno for handling The Tonight Show situation the way he did. O'Brien says, "I hope he's happy with his decision ... I would do it differently." According to Coco, he and Jay haven't spoken a word to each other since the late-night switch.

He goes on to say, "If I had surrendered The Tonight Show and handed it over to somebody publicly and wished them well ... I would not have come back six months later. But that's me...everyone has there own way of doing things."

Ouch! Something tells us that Coco doesn't support Team Jay.

Conan O'Brien's first post-Tonight Show interview airs on 60 Minutes this Sunday, and the TV host is finally speaking out about Jay Leno, NBC, and where he hopes to go with his future.

In the interview, Conan says he never would have "surrendered The Tonight Show and handed it over to somebody publicly and wished them well – and then … six months later… But that's me, you know." Conan continued, "[Jay] went and took that show back and I think in a similar situation, if roles had been reversed, I know – I know me, I wouldn't have done that."

Conan also disses the network, saying that leaving NBC was like severing a "toxic" relationship, and though he may have been open to negotiations, it got to the point where "I'm not sure these people even really want me here." Aww, Coco! At least TBS wants you!

Guess he's happy about leaving NBC for TBS! Think he'll fit in well before George Lopez (who got bumped to midnight) every evening? We spotted Conan and his wife getting a bite to eat in Brentwood yesterday afternoon and the late night talk show host was all smiles on his way out...

I'll just be relieved when he starts shaving again.
