CONRAD MURRAY TRIAL: Jury Currently Deliberating
Posted on Fri Nov 4, 2011 02:55 PM PDT
Six weeks have passed in the Dr. Conrad Murray manslaughter trial, and now it's up to the jury to decide whether the doctor is guilty or not ... of killing Michael Jackson.
The twelve men and women of the jury have begun deliberations. Their decision can come as soon as today or could take weeks to decide.
During closing arguments on Thursday, defense attorney Ed Chernoff said the prosecution "absolutely failed to prove a crime."
In comparison, prosecuting attorney David Walgren referred to the defense's theory as "junk science."
Dr. Murray is accused of injecting the King of Pop with a lethal dose of Propofol on June 25, 2009, resulting in Jackson's death.
In our X17 Poll asking readers if Dr. Murray should be found guilty, 53% of you said "yes" while 46% believe he's innocent.
Do you think Murray will be found guilty or not guilty?
