David Arquette Has Entered The "Friend Zone" With Courteney Cox

Courteney Cox will always be one of his Friends!
The famous pair announced their separation a year ago this month, but David Arquette confirms he still has a very close relationship with Cox.
The actress has frequently been seen in the audience supporting her ex on Dancing With the Stars, but don't expect a romantic reconciliation any time soon.
Arquette revealed to Access Hollywood:
- "We're pretty much in the friend zone. Though we love each other and we love to laugh and have a great time, it's difficult."
The Scream 4 star also admits he had a chat with daughter Coco, 7, about the split, confessing: "Kids know everything -- they know a lot. They feel it, they sense it. I was really honest with her throughout the whole experience. There's not much we don't communicate about."
Arquette is currently dating Entertainment Tonight's Christina McLarty.
Courteney and David separated in October 11, 2010, after 11 years together.

For awhile I was rooting for them, but the more David speaks on Stern, the more I hope Courtney moves on and finds someone mature and loving who can focus on her (rather than the other way around, which clearly has been the case in their marriage for a long time).
I'm sure this isn't a suprise to hear:

Donn I feel the same way. I dread everytime David goes on Stern since Howard has a way of getting out information out of him that he shouldn't be spilling. I also think Howard can be a little mean and disrespectful towards Courteney but that's another issue. I am so sick of hearing the "we aren't compatable (sp?)" excuse. Y is it such a big deal since you've been together for so long! They just sound stupid when they say that excuse. Another thing to take into affect is that Courteney wanted this separation while David wanted to stay married. While I don't think he should have a girlfriend (considering that they are still legally married and haven't even filed yet) I think he's given up in waiting for her to take him back. My heart breaks for Coco though. What happened to a deal's a deal? I'm still rooting for them though!
